Nice heavy glass.

With a retail cost of seventeen bucks this is a beautiful glass and excellent for gifting. The etching is beautiful, and while it doesn't look prominent when empty, when it has any type of dark liquid inside, it looks amazing. This glass is heavy, and well made. The etching is clean and clear. I personally think it should be hand washed just to keep it from being scratched up, but it doesn't say anything about it not being dishwasher safe. It also comes packed nicely with a gift card in the top if you want to use it.

I was excited to receive this beautiful glass. It’s date commemorates a wonderful year in our lives. It’s heavy, beautifully etched and packaged for easy gifting. I have no intention of letting it out of my sight and will instead, happily use it for my juice each morning. It’s a nice way to celebrate a life, a time, or an important event. The description says it’s for the man in your life, brother, husband, father, son, grandfather but I think that’s pretty limiting. I think it’s for anyone that appreciates a sparkling reminder of an important year. The fact that it’s a whiskey glass shouldn’t deter anyone from ordering it for whatever special occasion, memory or person they’re celebrating. It’s well made, substantial easy to hold in your hand and should last a lifetime.

I bought a similar glass for a neighbor that was celebrating her 90th birthday and had her name etched onto it. It went on her mantle and was more prized than much more expensive gifts her family members gave her. I felt a bit bad that I had one upped them. I bought this glass for my brother in law and plan to ship it out of state so I was really glad to see this comes in a well protected gift box to survive shipping. I also like that it has a blank card to write a note so that saves money and time. The quality of this glass is really good and the deep three dimensional pattern of the bottom gives the glass a heavy feel and gravitas. The only reason I can’t give it 5 stars is the lettering on “Limited Edition, Aged to Perfection” practically needs a magnifying glass to read. If your making a gift for a 60 year old, you want them to be able to read it without having to take a picture on their cell phone so they can blow it up enough to read. Still a good gift, but hopefully they change the design for future versions.

My twin brother and I will be turning 70 in about a week, but won't be able to get together in person. So when I saw this Whiskey glass, I thought we could at least drink a toast to one another with "twin" glasses. So I ordered one for myself to see if it was nice enough - and I'm glad to say it is. This glass gleams like a jewel (the bottom is really impressive) and has a nice inscription with our birth year. It comes in a very nice, giftable box. So this old guy is definitely ordering a second one to send to another old guy. Maybe I'll do the same when we turn 100.

I got it for my dad, as he loves good whiskey. However, I couldn't expect how much my mother would love this glass as well since she was born in 1972 too. The quality of the glass is excellent - I wouldn't feel ashamed to gift it to somebody. The inner etching is beautiful. The box includes a small cardboard card and an envelope for it, so you can write a small letter there. Overall, great gift!

The glass weighs almost 1lb! Much heftier than I expected. 409 grams or 14.375 ounces. Pretty solid construction. The etched glass looks good and feels good in hand. It's 88cm across from edge to edge on the top, 77cm on the bottom. Overall a nice glass, and especially good to remind your 50 year old buddy that you are now and always will be younger! ;-)

Wonderful funny gift! The glass I ordered has etching that looks beautiful, and classic. I would consider giving as a gift because of the high quality of the item. It was delivered quickly and stored nicely in a box with foam. The box can be given or sent directly to someone without wrap.
