Okay, listen up besties, I gotta talk about these epic LED strips I snagged on Amazon. They're called the 2 BTF-LIGHTING WS2812B IC RGB 5050SMD Pure Gold Individual Addressable LED Strips, and let me tell you, the name is no joke. These things are fire (literally, they light up, duh). Ocean vibes in your bathtub? Done. The possibilities are endless, and my Instagram feed is already thriving. They're so customizable, it's insane. I honestly cannot say enough about BTF and their customer service. I have been ordering the 2812B strips for a while and love the results. I had a different set up strips that had an issue and BTF responded and replaced immediately. Amazing customer service. I use the 2812B strips for NeoPixel Lightsaber blades. The power supply I use is a KeepPower 18650 15A battery, wired into an Arduino / Teensy 3.2 setup. I also tried it with a Spark Color 2, Nano Biscotte V4 and Prizm 5.1 controllers, ran with other high discharge batteries. All have been proved compatible with dozens of previous builds by myself and others in my saber building group. I do have another SK6812 strip setup which works perfectly, which is why I bought these. I build custom lightsaber (yes the laser swords from star wars). Myself and a couple dozen of us that are in an online club build blades using polycarbonite tubing, with the led strips placed inside of the tubing. We use WS2812B, WS2813, and SK6812 strips because they all work with our builds and how we program the boards. We take two led strips and place them back to back, wiring them in parallel, then putting resistors between the data pad and the adapter pcb. I have had the best results with the 2812B strips. I hope this all helps you make a decision on which strips to buy. I have had many compliments on the brightness of these strips, which I owe to BTF. Many of us in the group have tried different strips. And some have proven not to work. These strips have been very successful for many of us.

The past led strips I have had were, well... cheap, so I can not criticize them too much. They were not bright, they were not vibrant, none of their white lights were pure white. They were either blue-ish or yellow-ish. They also never had the option to have more than one color in one strip unless they were broken Imao. This is my first time buying actually good quality led strips so bare with me, I will look like an idiot being entertained by a single rubber band, but this is so new to me and it brought so many colors into my life at once, you have gotta cut me some slack. XD HOLY MOMMY LOOK AT THOSE FRICKING COLORS!!!!!!!!! I use the bluetooth controller for these led strips so I am having fun with the settings, its features, messing around with its buttons, you name it lol. I will say, the lights are blinding so you have nothing to worry about with how bright they can get. 🤣 Gosh they are so beautiful... I keep looking at the pictures I am going to use for this review, so f***ing mesmerizing... I remember waiting for these to arrive, it felt like forever but that was just me being way too excited- I bought six rolls of these and MWAH!!!! I am in love, I am obsessed, I am ADDICTED! I know I'm exaggerating but I genuinely am coming from excitment, I still love these. 😭 The fact that this is just one roll and it illuminates my room, imagine six of these? In like... half a year when we move out (my mom is still unsure when, but she says we will move out about four months to over a year), I will update my review and show y'all my brand new, vibrant room! This is my promise, and if you still do not trust me, my address is- I am just kidding, but I really will update y'all! THANK YOU THESE ARE SO AMAZING!!!!!!!

I have bought several of this strip and they work great. However, the last one I received the package was open and the plugs were missing. the stip and all the paperwork was there but the plugs were missing. I can still use it but I did not get what I paid for.

Great lights, really cool effects with WLED. Unfortunately I’m brand new to DIY light stuff and burned out the whole strip :( Had it all working and was excited to show it off to my partner when she got home. Unplugged it all and when she got home I plugged it in… to the… 12V power adapter that was right next to my 5V power adapter :’( they shined ever so brightly, but 1 wasn’t on and I was confused. Then another went, then 5 went out. Unplugged it and discovered my error. Plugged back in to 5V and 5 were still light up. Tried to make adjustments Imin WLED and then only 1 was on. Unplugged and replugged again and now they are all gone. RIP you beautiful 144 LED/M strip. Our time was short together, but it was beautifully blinding. TLDR; don’t be like me. Stay organized and careful when prototyping with these or you will regret it like this nooobie. Good product from BTF-Lighting

I like how each led has its own dedicated resistor. I've used cheaper alternatives in the past that I bought off of temu but the quality is definitely not as great as these ones. They work excellent even when being spliced and soldered in different configurations

Worked great! I ordered these for a 3D project I printed on my K2 Plus.

Combined these with a quinled dig uno, wled (pre loaded) a bit of frosted Perspex tube, a smaller aluminium tube and a appropriate power supply and presto one iPhone LED lamp with tons of effects. With the correct power supply you can drive these pretty bright. Started this with the intention of working with my son to show him computers, electronics, woodwork and a bit of Practical application of maths to work out the spacing of the led string on the internal aluminium tube and he ended up not wanting to do it. Did it myself and quite happy with the result so happy to keep it myself.

I've bought a couple of sets of these 100 leds/m pixel strips now, combined with BTF's SP105E Bluetooth controller and a 5v 10A power supply from another manufacturer. I've been really impressed with the quality of the led strip and BTF's customer service. While the controller software is quite basic, it does all I need and seems reliable. It picks up the Bluetooth controller and connects quickly every time, and allows control of all the basic functionality very easily. Only thing I wish it would do is save favourite modes, but you could always go old school and write them down! Also wish you could rename the controller Bluetooth name, as I may get a few more for other rooms in the future. In terms of the lights themselves, I can't really fault them. Really nice colours, very bright and super quick to change state. Also as there are so many leds/m, you get very little spotting effect if using to edge light a glass shelf (which is what I'm doing). Even better if you put them behind a diffuser in some sort of profile. Only slight gripe is there's not that many different brightness settings, but I'm not sure if that's a function of the leds or the controller - I suspect the latter again. A nice percentage slider would be welcome rather than steps. Same with the scroll speed of the modes too, not that many different speeds available, when I suspect in reality a much greater range is possible. Overall very happy with the led strips and BTF!

Perfettamente compatibili con la libreria neopixel, la strip la sto usando su arduino uno anche con un alimentatore da 5V 1A e funziona benissimo, led veramente luminosi... Sicuramente comprerò di nuovo da questo venditore puntuale e molto serio nelle descrizioni.
