Huusk Japanese Folding Bread Knife - Pocket Knife with Wide Wavy Edge

These are a great addition to my kitchen. Well balanced and very sharp with a very good blade lock. I look forward to taking them next time we rent a vacation place. I am going to collect the entire line.

Great for barbecues , works well on food prep and easily crosses over to be an outdoorsmans knife. I bought them for my sons also and they love them. I will definitely be ordering more of these as gifts a a spare for me in case I lose mine.

Very good knife the materials seem to be of good quality very sharp out of the box. Its not a edc but it will do great in outdoor activities as well as in the kitchen and garden. A great product for the cost

I did a lot of research and read a lot before buying this knife, so I knew what I was getting into, lol. You can buy these things on AliExpress and eBay under a zillion different names, all with the same questionable advertising. This one is my third, because my first was stolen and the second had a moving handle, lol. I have the Viking style in black, and while it says, “Huusk Japan,” it’s made in China and needed sharpening out of the box, just like the other two. Having said all that, I’m a fraternity chef and use this knife for literally everything. It needs sharpening every couple of weeks, and a 600/1000 whetstone works great. I dropped it and bent the tip a bit, but I was able to sharpen it out. My only complaint is that the belt loop broke after months of use, so here I am, about to buy this knife a fourth time. I love the weight of it, the shape and style, that it’s comfortable slicing tomatoes, herbs, trimming meat and annihilating pineapples. I’ve thought about adding more knives and getting a roll bag, but honestly, I’d just fill it with these.

Had to return. The blade did not lock in place. Poor workmanship.

I was surprised at the level of craftmanship in creating this chef's knife. It is not only razor sharp, well balanced, beautifully designed and sturdy, but is so nicely balanced and feels great even in my small, female hand. I love the cutout area for your forefinger and will probably insert a silicone comfort band in it to make it feel even better. It's heavier than I expected but I prefer that! Overall, I couldn't be happier with my purchase!
