Not really happy with this. The skins pictured I bought before a few years ago. Those skins were soft and supple and easy to work with. They were from a different company but the picture is identical so I thought they were selling on Amazon now. I am using that experience as a basis for comparison.The skin I received feels like paper. The scales are very flat as if they have been ironed down. I know this may sound odd, but there is no 'life' in them. With the other ones, you could rub your hands on the scales and the scales would raise up when you bend the hide.I got this skin to make a neck collar and I would have gotten another to make an arm band. I use copper wire and I wrap it with batting until it is the right thickness. Then I sew the skin closed around it. When I wore it, there was no issue with it getting wet.I can do nothing with this. I'm annoyed. 😒
