It worked surprisingly well for our dog
We have a really noise sensitive pup who is particularly scared of fireworks and thunderstorms, but will jump and shake at nearly every outside noise. We bought one of these because we were having gutters installed. We stayed home just to keep her calmer, but I have to say that she was exceedingly calm throughout the day. No shaking or anything, actually better than an average day around the house. She wore it just fine and didn't try to get it off. She did scratch a couple times, and that pulled threads and made it look pretty rough, so I think it will wear out with use, but as inexpensive as it is, we bought two more the next day just to have and will certainly be using it during every storm or around Independence Day when people are shooting fireworks.
