I really like these earcups as the cups that came from the box were a bit too soft for me but the faux leather cups that I bought are really comfortable and make it so I can barely hear outside noise and 4 months later there is 0 signs of wear and tear. The cups were obviously easy to install but the top piece was a pain to get off and on especially knowing that it is a weak point in this headset so be careful when installing!

Defean the a50 mod kit gen4 set you make are awesome, they fit like a glove and are 100% more comfortable then the original set that came with the Astro a50. Great job guys…..

Wasn’t sure what to expect in the price range, but i’m very impressed! Highly recommend these.I bought the black protein set and in the box you’ll get 2 replacement ear pads with the magnetic holders so you can just pop them on.It also has 2 replacement headband pads, one protein and one fabric, both have a very nice plain black plastic that fits the Astros perfectly.Made my headset comfy to wear again and I much prefer a leather feeling to fabric - feels cleaner because of my long hair.Also has 2 foam pop filters for the mic so I’m using one, why not.
