I wanted to add a compact chorus pedal to my pedal board. After listening to a number of similar pedals online, it appeared that the Rowin sounded as good or better than a lot of units priced significantly higher. (I suspect that some of the more expensive units are the same pedal with different paint jobs, but I do not know this for certain.) In any case the Rowin does what a chorus pedal is supposed to do. It can add shimmer to clean tones, and thicken the sound of an overdriven guitar. My Strat never sounded so good. The pedal doesn't color the tone much, perhaps brightening it just a bit. This chorus won't give you an extreme "underwater" gurgle, so if that's the sound you seek, there are better choices out there. But for pretty much any other application, this pedal is a bargain.

Price doesn't matter. I'm not going to say "this sounds great for the price." Sounds as good as any other chorus on the market. It might lack some of the controls that models 5x more expensive have, but you need not worry about sound or quality. Great pedal.

This thing is well made and sounds really good, especially for the price point. It's a subtle chorus, you can't get a really intense effect but its tasteful and I like it very much.

A great chorus pedal! Simple to use and makes your tone thick and full. The depth and rate controls on the pedal are responsive and lead to a wide variety of chorus sounds. I was immedietly impressed with how much more confidence this pedal gave me for my blues playing. Set it low and leave it on all the time for some great vibes or crank the knobs up up and see what new ideas hit you when your tone is this warm and rich! The included instructions are well printed and the pedal is very well built. I'm not easy on anything and this pedal has held up very well. Fits great on my pedal board and looks good too! For the price you can't go wrong if you're looking for an upgrade to your rig. From blues to rock, classics to modern, you'll be suprised just how much this pedal adds to your playing.

Plugged it in and adjusted settings. Pedal only supplied a slight volume boost. No chorus effect. None at all. Just an added sound that can only be described as someone blowing into an NES cartridge to make it work in 1989. Truly disappointed, as I needed a chorus for a show this weekend, but I guess that’s what I get for buying cheap pedals on Amazon.

Why is this super cheap pedal on my board with a bunch of pedals that cost 4x more? Because it’s a really good Boss CE-2 clone. It’s transparent and doesn’t steal gain or mids from your signal, and it’s the key to a truckload of iconic sounds. It’s also built like a little tank. Buy three.
