POVTOR Red Lens JK Tail Lights, DOT Approved LED Tail Lights with Welcome Light Sequential Turn Signal Reverse Brake Rear Back Up Lights Compatible with Jeep Wrangler JK/JKU 2007-2018

These lights far exceeded my expectations. I was skeptical at first but after receiving, examining and Installing these light I’m very pleased with them. The installation was easier than expected. All you need is a screwdriver. That’s it. Patience is key, take your time and don’t rush. It look me less than 20 mins to install both sides and that’s me being careful and cautious that I don’t scratch up my new taillights! These lights are much bigger than the stock lights and way brighter. My other after market lights were really bright and these are just as bright. The difference with these light vs my other after market lights are that these fit closer to my stock taillights which is great. The fit and finish is spot on. I can’t comment on the reliability since I’ve only had them for a few hours but I’m confident that it will last a long time based on the build quality of the product.

I like the look of the lights. I wish the turn signal and brake lights were a little brighter. But overall the look. Beware of the LED flasher resistor. It gets very hot. I made a bracket for mine to make sure it does not touch any plastic. They are very easy to install. It took me about 30-45 minutes to do both.

Update April 2023: I’m reviewing 1 month later. Definitely plastic and hardware are cheap. Once tail lights are installed, hanging parts hit the inside compartment of the tail light while driving. After fixing the issue all screws rotten in contact with humidity. Exterior aspect is cool but I didn’t expect such a low material quality for a $210 tail lights. I don’t think they will last very long.Update July 2023: plastic parts melt due to overheating even if parts replaced by new ones. Electrical parts are a safety issue and most probably not aproved by electric, electronic standards in US. DO NOT BUY.Update August 2023: I had lights returned and refunded. Piece of crap!

Very easy to install, they look and feel cheaply made. Wiring was not loomed and maybe 20-18 gauge. Resistor just kind of hangs... I zip tied it but sure it will last. Will see how they hold up.

Nice lights, works great, easy to install and bright.
