HH-66 Toluene Free Vinyl Cement 1 Gal - PVC & Vinyl Glue for Pools, Tarps

I’ve tried countless vinyl repair glues and tapes to fix leaky pool liners and worn inflatable items, but none perform nearly as well as this HH-66 Toluene Free Vinyl Cement. The 1oz compact bottle is easy to control, letting me apply thin, precise layers without messy overflow or waste, which is ideal for small pinpoint leaks and tear repairs on delicate vinyl materials. What I love most is its toluene-free formula. It has a mild, non-irritating odor, making it safe for indoor and outdoor DIY use without harsh fumes. Once fully cured, the bond is incredibly strong and impressively flexible. Unlike rigid glues that crack with movement, this cement stretches with vinyl and PVC surfaces, resisting peeling or splitting from bending and water pressure. I used it to patch a tiny leak on my above-ground pool liner and fix my boat seat vinyl cracks. After weeks of full sun exposure and constant water contact, the repairs hold perfectly with zero water seepage. The waterproof, weather-resistant performance is outstanding. This professional-grade adhesive is a game-changer for all vinyl and PVC repairs.

I picked this 1 oz HH-66 Toluene Free Vinyl Cement to patch my pool liner and fix a tear on my camping tarp. I love the toluene-free formula with less harsh fumes compared to older versions 😃. It brushes on smoothly and cures into a strong, flexible waterproof bond that stretches with vinyl material. It works great for inflatables, boat seats and PVC fabric. After the patch fully cured, the pool area held water perfectly with no leaks. The bond stays elastic and won’t crack from temperature shifts. The small bottle is ideal for small emergency repairs. It’s simple to use and delivers professional-grade results for all my vinyl fixes. Highly recommended

I came across this HH-66 Toluene Free Vinyl Cement, in the 4 oz. can. After doing extensive research online for my specific project. I purchased a used, but in excellent condition, full size, tonneau cover for my F150. I have a tool box in the rear and I wanted to cover the exposed bed. The tonneau cover had a length of 72" and i had to shorten it down to 45". As a handyman by trade and an RC hobbyists at heart. I took the tonneau frame apart and put it back together, almost achieving a factory finnish. 1. I performed a small test on two strips of vinyl. I didn't clean them (intentionally) because I wanted to test the cement on unclean surfaces to check the level of adherence. The cement bonded phenomenally! 2. Prep your surfaces/wipe both sides with alcohol before applying the cement. 3. Please note: The cement dries as you brush it on, if possible, I suggest working on small manageable sections like 5" to 10" sections at a time, brush on quickly. Once a desired section is complete, move on to the next piece immediately! "Do not waite to bond the pieces together after brushing the cement on them. Once the 2nd strip is covered in the cement start bonding the ends together so they don't dry-up on you in the process....if they dry, your going to be left with a weak/ poor bond, the ends may lift or you will end up with air bubbles trapped between the vinyl 4. Wetter is better! You need both sides to be tacky wet, not tacky dry. I can't stress this enough 5. Press and hold for a few minutes, I used duct tape, blue painters tape and a variety of different size binder clips for my application and it worked great, get creative 6. Take your time, my specific project took roughly 3 days. I worked on it mornings and late evenings. I wanted to finnish my project but I wasn't in a rush and it turned out great! 7. The smell wasn't overwhelming for me, (I have worked with an array of chemicals) but if your sensitive to smells, yeah, it's best if you work outdoors, a garage, a shed, or a porch or just crack open a window. 8. My seams bonded extremely well, tight, no water leaks, no issues, no lifted ends. 9. Clean up is a snap! If you don't have thinner just use your 91% rubbing alcohol on a rag and wipe everything clean, it will break down the cement the same way. If you made it this far, I hope the small details described in my review will help you during your next project (s) i would use this on flexible thick vinyl products, not the cheap flimsy stuff. Preferably on tonneau covers, pool covers, air mattresses, vinyl tarp repairs, etc. Just to name a few. Also, if you intend to use this cement on PVC pipes, don't! Just go to your big box store, they sell a kit specifically designed for PVC pipes. Reminder: Always try a test piece first, before moving forward. This way you will be able to move forward confidently. Take care all, just a handymans honest perspective.

I grabbed this to patch a tiny tear in our inflatable pool and a crack starting on an old tarp. The glue itself works well once it cures. I cleaned the area, brushed on a thin layer, pressed it down, and the pool held water overnight with the kids jumping in and out. That part made me pretty happy. What bugged me a bit is how thick it feels out of the tube. I had to work fast or it started to get stringy. The brush is small too, so bigger repairs take patience. For small vinyl stuff around the house, it does the job.

This product works as advertised on SUP. I had a small nick at the factory seam between top and bottom halves of my SUP. I followed the directions and first glued the seam back together as best I could and then inflated the board to low PSI to establish the shape for adding a larger patch (using SUP manufacturer patch material) to overlap the seam and serve as a back up since I doubt I could repair the entire seam separation. Added some more PSI but still on the lower end for the next hour. Then took it up to full pressure and let it sit overnight. Holding pressure really well and this board is useable again (before repair would be un-useable ion 10 minutes tops)! Absolutely recommend this glue! I will adjust the review if down the road the repair fails but I do not anticipate this.

Most of my retired life involves fixing instead of tossing, so I picked this up to repair a tiny crack in our old backyard inflatable pool for the grandkids. The tube looks small, but I only used a thin line to seal the split. I pressed it together, waited a bit, then refilled the pool that afternoon. No more slow leak, and the kids splashed around for hours without me checking the water level every fifteen minutes. I also used a dab on a tear in a vinyl seat on our little fishing boat. It dried neatly and saved me from trying to sew that slippery material.

I use this on vinyl flooring and it works great. Waterproof. I wish it dried faster than it does but it's still fairly quick.

Was looking for a safer solvent-free option for my pool liner repair kit, so I grabbed this 1 oz to use right at home. The bond stays flexible when the liner flexes, and I like that it does not stink like the old bottles I used before. One afternoon patch held after I refilled, even with normal movement near the seam.

Brilliant stuff, I used this cement to repair a Lay Z Spa hottub. Other glues and patches could not hold, but I applied HH-66 in multiple layers, then followed by a patch. The repair has held completely for weeks. I would highly recommend this product for inflatable hot tub repair.

Very strong glue.

An efficient adhesive absolutely ideal for patching our fabric covered aircraft hangar.

Used this to glue new vinyl covers to fiberglass resin seats for my boat. One year on and the seats are still looking great and the glue is still holding strong, after a boating season. Well worth the money, highly recommended. Also glued a sole back on some trainers that the shoe shop failed to stick. Great stuff!
