SpigenNeo Hybrid S Designed for Galaxy Z Fold 4 Case (2022) - Black

This case features a robust and heavy kickstand and uses magnets to hold the kickstand in place when not in use. Unfortunately, on my case, this produces magnetic interference which (I think) affects a sensor and keeps the inner display active when the phone is folded. This occurs when the magnet and the kickstand make contact. Once you use the kickstand, the inner display will automatically turn off because the kickstand and magnet no longer have contact.This is a pain in the butt for day to day use. Effectively, you are unable to use the cover display once you have folded the phone. This means, for example, if you fold your phone and get a phone call - you won't be able to answer without unfolding. Your battery will also drain more because the phone thinks the inner display is active despite being folded.Update:So looks Spigen revised this. The kickstand is noticeably lighter now and the magnets are weaker. This fixes the (inner display awake) issue above. The revised version is much lighter than it was before. However, this case is noticeable flimsier now and less robust. Mine also had QC issues - adhesive for the magnet actually wore off - so one of magnets actually fell out. Tolerance issues - kickstand cutout also rubs against the larger rectangle portion of the case on the back.

The media could not be loaded.  Given the nature of the fold, it will be hard for any case to really be that durable and sturdy except for maybe a folio style case/cover.This case snaps on and uses adhesive strips to keep it secure. It comes with a second set of adhesive strips if you take it off and put it back on. The case feels fairly secure for the most part but it sometimes feels like there is some potential for a little bit of lift, but that has not been a real problem for me yet.I like that the foldout kickstand is metal and covers the entire back of the case. There is a grippy cutout that gives good security when holding it, but I use it to hold a magnet for mounting my phone in the car and attaching a pop socket. I can fold the kickstand out with the pop socket attached which is a big plus for me.The kickstand feels secure and holds the phone well. It does have the downside of not being able to hold the phone up in portrait orientation.The phone is noticeably bigger with the case on, but for having the kickstand and raised bevels around the screens and cameras I feel that it is a worthy tradeoff.Hard to say if it is a great value for the money when it is so expensive, but for me personally I feel that it is worth it. Time will tell how well this thing holds up to regular usage and wear and tear. I just got it earlier today.Edit:Unfortunately, I dropped it with the hinge open and broke it completely off. Outside of that I had no issues with it, drops and all. Still works technically just looks and feels weird with the back piece missing.

I was really beginning to like this case however it lasted only 2 months, the thin somewhat flimsy strip on the left side of the outer cover broke from one corner and would keep snapping out everytime I would put it in my pocket.I thought Spigen was a quality brand, pity it had to end this way.

I love Spigen products, mostly go throught their store before searching for other options. I had the Samsung case they included as part of the preorder with the Z Fold4 but the front facing part broke in about 3 months, i still dont know how. I decided to purchase the Spigen Neo case and i absolutely love it until the hinges got weak and lastly broke off today. I would get one again bit they are too expensive at this time. In all, i still have the case on but no longer have the stand sadly. I will still look forward to Spigen produnts and hopefully the will upgrade the case hinges.

Love the case itself feels good in the hand and looks great. Gives easy access to all functions with no interference. However the main point about this case is the stand, which is now broken. The hinge itself broke and the magnets had come out all in a weeks worth of use. Very dissatisfied with the quality of the product. Great idea poor execution.

I was hesitant when I saw the negative reviews of others. After waiting a little while, I decided to purchase anyways. This is one of the few quality cases for the Fold 4 so far. Having a full length kick stand makes it way sturdier on less solid surfaces, and the tension is perfect for adjusting the angle and keeping it there. The edges of the case align perfectly, and it eliminates any "sheer" movement when the phone is folded. I also wondered what the purpose of the square cut out on the kickstand was, but its a perfect place to hold onto when the phone is unfolded and you're holding it with one hand. I've not experienced any connectivity issues, or any issues with the magnetic functions of the phone. One of the best cases available for this phone so far.

**Updated** and bumped for great customer service! Spigen did send out a replacement for me. Fingers crossed this one lasts more than a few weeks. Thin Part on front cover could be an issue for any manufacturer. I would be willing to buy a different case from Spigen in the future based on the quality feel of the case despite a week point in design. I'll keep a closer look at reviews to make my decisionThe stand worked great for a few weeks. It got weak and will no longer support the weight of the phone. Can only be used in "tent" mode and angle will not be adjustable.The thin piece on the fron cover by the hinge has pulled itself apart. It is no longer attached to itself atthe bottom. There is about a ⅛" gap of where it ripped apart. I attempted to super glue the frame together but it does not hold. It just rips again when trying to put it back on the phone.Definitely not worth the money paid for this. Will be contacting Spigen to see if they will be willing to replace or refund.

This premium phone case is anything but premium? After only TWO months the case frame is broken. This occurred by the torturous act of removing the phone from a pocket. That's right, a pocket. The material of the pocket catching on the edge of the frame was enough to snap it. I rely on manufacturers to ensure the quality of their products, particularly if they are charging big dollars for said product. I was initially satisfied with the phone case but upon initial inspection I had reservations about the thinness of the front frame. It seems my suspicions were vindicated. This part of the case is highly prone to failure. In hindsight, I will hesitate to purchase from this company in the future, which is very unfortunate because I used to think they made good products. Consider this consumer to be extremely unhappy!Edit: It is only 1 month after this initial review and the case is garbage! The flip down stand has snapped off due to being deployed for its intended purpose! Never dropped or abused in any way, it is just a very poor design. Made with substandard brittle plastic. I am very disappointed with this case. Charging premium dollars for this piece of crap is nothing short of theft. Do not buy this!
