Excellent Pen
This standard version of the Jotter is made in France and is an excellent value. It writes smooth with no streaks, while costing half that of the Jotter XL (made in China and a complete disaster). The finish is excellent and the tolerances are tight. No noise when you shake it.

Only for the SERIOUS "pen wielder"!
The brushed aluminum body feels REALLY GOOD in the hand (i.e., excellent "tactile feel"), it has a good "heft" (i.e., you KNOW you're holding a Good Pen), and the "click" mechanism is VERY SOLID. All in all, if you want to Look Professional (even if you're not a "Professional"), get this pen, PROUDLY wear it in your shirt pocket and WRITE WITH PRIDE!

Writes pretty well...until it went through the wash...
I've always liked the Parker Jotter pens - usually stole my dads pens and used them at school (sorry dad :0). As mentioned it writes pretty well until it went through the wash. The ink was of course ruined and the pen actually came apart (still not sure how). However, all the parts were just fine and reassembled just fine. I bought some new cartridges and I'm right back to it. Highly recommend, esp if its on sale.

Excellent for the money.
It's a parker. Good inexpensive ink pen. It's only as good as the cartridge, aftermarket just don't work as well. I've used nothing else for years now.

You can't go wrong with the PARKER JOTTER!!!!
Ever since highschool (16 years ago), I love having something plain , simple and stainless steel. I had stainless pencil, pencil box, ruler and all you name it. After I found out this pen in office depot at the time. I felt in love with it and used it through out my highschool years. I love how it feels, the weight of it was perfect , and also how clean the design was PERFECT!!!! With the quality of it and the price you pay for something like this is just too GOOD to be true. But guess what? it is really that good of a product. I lost the one I had and I am using a second one. I used it for the past three years with my new job and it is still working as usualy for me. PARKER JOTTER is just CLASSIC!!!!!!!!!

Writes like a dream
I bough this pen because of the favorable reviews and the strong Parker name. I have been completely satisfied with this pen. Unrelated but I've also been able to keep it longer than other pens as I often lose them. That may be a testament to the strength of the pen's clip to the barrel. I will likely buy more of these (or at least refills for this one).

My trusted writing companion for almost half a century
I’ve been writing with this type of Parker pen since I was taught how to write.. many decades ago. I very much like the style, the weight and the grip. Most importantly the durability is generally very good. The metal top end offers very good protection against chewing and general wear. The only historic weakness is the clip, that when I was a schoolboy used to break after a few weeks – these days I’m better able to control my tendencies. I struggle a bit more with two aspects of the modern Parker pens of this type; first, the push button on top is now rounded and polished. For sentimental and aesthetic reasons I prefer the old variant with the sunken rim and Parker logo printed on the button. Yet this more recent variant is probably more hygienic. Secondly, the new painted metal bottom part looks nice but I think the former little chrome band above the tip just gave the pen a more distinguished look. Also metal (aluminium I suppose) has replaced the former plastic bottom part, this enhances durability and prevents the body from scratches in theory. But the spare modern one I have already has paint damage near the tip. Either way, rather than a colour I always have the harder to find plain stainless steel lower body variant that looks a bit more stylish. I’ve always sworn to the finest blue tip. Professionally the most important reason to have this pen is that is looks decent and modestly chic but everyone knows its not outrageously expensive, like a Montblanc pen (while the functionality is similar). This is very important to me as I am in trusted relationship with significant clients and advisors and I can’t afford to come across as sensitive to luxury nor as careless about appearance. Also an expensive pen would be a waste as I tend to lose my Parker pen every other year at meetings or conferences. I was quite pleased to find my favourite Parker pen variant at Amazon, at less than half the price than the various city high-street stationary shops. So I bought 2 of them to be prepared for my next inevitable loss. And of course I highly recommend these pens.
