Great for Adults and Older kids
Excellent markers with clear colors. These work great for drawing, doodling, and coloring in adult coloring books. The tips are flexible like a paint brush, which makes the coloring experience very enjoyable. Probably not the best choice for young kids.

Nice basic set of Duel Tipped Marking Pens
Tombow makes great duel tipped markers, and have done so for years. This bright set of 10 markers should be no different. Their markers (though now they call them pens) are versatile, come in a number of colors and sets, and the ink lasts a long long time, which is what makes Tombow such a popular choice for markers in general - and when they combine a brush tip pen with a regular tipped pen - you end up with two great markers in one. This set comes with two different pinks. one yellow, one orange two light greens, a greenish blue, a turquoise blue and a light and dark purple. Each marker does come with two caps - the large color cap you see in the photo fits the brush end of the marker, and a regular type cap covers the regular end. The caps stack one on top (or over) the other when using the marker. The ink used is also water based, and also acid free, which is important if you want to help preserve what you are doing with the marker. The inks are bendable as well, These markers take a long time to dry out if you accidentally lose the cap for the marker, which is why I purchased this set. While I only wanted to replace the single marker I had lost the cap on because I had not stacked the cap while I was using it, it was almost the same cost to purchase this set of 10 markers, one of which is very similar in color to the marker I had wanted to replace than it was to purchase the single marker of the same color. For reference, I lost the marker cap 8 weeks ago, and has sat uncapped since then. It was not new either, and only now is the marker really starting to write like a dried out marker. This is definitely a 5 star marker because you will get your money's worth with these markers if you are relatively careful with them. I took two stars off in the rating for being a good marker set for beginners, and in this regard, I am considering beginners as children mostly, but adults too that either may be hard on markers or slightly more likely to lose caps, only because there are similar dual tipped markers out there that do the same essentially the same thing but are cheaper to purchase (unless Tombow markers are on sale). They will likely have less ink, and less color choices, and not quite as good a pen tip, but they are still perfectly good as markers.

Great for annotating!!
These make the best highlighters! They aren't too dark, and they don't bleed through my cheap paperbacks. lol The brush tip makes for much better accuracy too compared to the highlighters with an angled edge. Absolutely love this set! I'll buy these again when they run out of ink.

Nice colors.
This is a very nice set, the colors are beautiful and vibrant. I use it every day in my journal. The paper has to be a little ticker than regular paper because the ink bleeds to the other side of the page. My journal has thick paper so is not an issue for me.

A dream to work with.
I bought this set because none of my other dye based markers have a range of skin tones and thought this would be a good starter set for me as I haven't used this brand before but heard great things about it. I really love the quality of these markers. The brush nib is a dream to work with, it lays down color with a full even coverage using brush to paper without any water. There are two browns, a black and caramel color for blending color hair. The flesh tone color is very beautiful as is the blush color. The set also come with a colorless blender which was a bonus. There is a yellow color in the set, which doesn't seem to be a true skin tone but if you layer it with the peach color, it does give realistic skin tones, especially if you lay down the color with water. From the photo, it looks like the yellow was used to create shadows underneath the woman's neck which looks warm and natural in the photo. If you look at the image in the photo on the packaging, I think it gives an unrealistic example of what these markers can do, but for all I know that image was made using these markers by a highly trained and skillful artist. To me it looks airbrushed but don't know for sure. The one thing you need to know is that the colors are highly pigmented so the skin tone colors are too dark to look natural for skin tones. They are more subtle using the blender pen, but look the best when used with water. After I did a test with water I was really happy with the results and the colors do resemble the colors in the photo. I think it would be fun to use these with colored pencils and other media. There is also a "flesh" color from the Zig Real Color Brush Tip Marker line that you can buy individually to add to this set, I think the two brands would work together as they are both dye based markers. I have tried both and think the Tombow is a better quality marker. I found with the Zig that the color does not disperse as well no matter how you use it (with colorless blender, with water, or direct marker to paper.)

Color your plans your way—bold, blendable, and zero bleed-through perfection.
These are hands down my go-to planner pens. I love the dual-ended design.....one side for bold color and the other for finer details, which makes everything look so put together. The colors blend beautifully, and the biggest win? No bleed-through on my planner pages 🙌 Perfect for adding color without ruining the next page!

Very good value
I would 100% recommend these. I picked up two gray tone markers along with some muted primaries at Michael's a few months ago to add some depth to my sketches. I liked them a lot, so I purchased the Portrait pack, Landscape pack, and the Secondary pack two weeks ago and have been using them since. I use these mainly for sketching, as you can layer the opacity very nicely. With that being said, as any marker, there is only so much give to sketchbook paper before it starts to chew through it, but that does not bother me too much as I mainly use these for ideas of where i want colors/tones/shadows etc placed. (I would recommend bristol paper, or a hot-press watercolor paper for final pieces. I use mostly a mix media sketchbook and it works well enough.) The variety of colors is what drew me to them mostly; although I do wish there were more pastel skin tones available, with different undertones. As of now they are mostly pink based. (Again, you can only get away with layering them so much before the paper gives out.) The spectrum ranges from pastel, to highly opaque colors and they are extremely blendable being water based, so you can get away with purchasing a few, and mixing your own colors. Application is very smooth as well. The brush tip makes it very easy to get soft lines and fill in large areas, while the fine tip is good for placing color in specific areas etc. As well, you can put some of the ink on a plastic sheet, and you can pick it up on a brush/water brush and you can get beautiful washes of color. (Will not dry nearly as fast as anything alcohol based.) Pros: -Easy to work with -Variety of color -Portable Cons: -Lacking different undertones of color (Although as stated, you are able to mix colors. I am just lazy.) -Some darker colors don't layer as well -Brush nib is very soft and after awhile it will start to have a little more give, so you will have to be more careful when you are placing specific color. I would not compare them to Prisma or Copic markers performance wise as they are alcohol based, but the price point of Tombow's is obviously much better, and water-based markers are MUCH more forgiving than alcohol based markers. (Just as watercolor paint is easier to work with than say acrylic in my opinion.) I have used Arteza markers as well, and I prefer the Tombow. If you are looking for quality art supplies that won't break the bank, offers a wide variety of color and easy to work with, definitely give these a try!

Colori stupendi e ben confezionati
