Bad Drop Foot/Weak Ankle, Great Support Remedy
This is my 2nd DOSH AFO Drop Foot Brace (beige now black), I love them. For the 1st time in 6 years I can walk barefooted in a brace. I can wear it in a sandal, a sneaker, casual leather shoe and hopefully a boot. Yes, I went up 1/2 size, and one width, but I can wear different types of footwear. I have drop foot that has gotten progressively worse and these braces have give me a choice of footwear. And I have always loved shoes. Thank you!!

It’s working very well
Drop foot brace is working very well given me new feeling and sensations in the left foot for now being in that position holds the foot up rather well in a very reasonable price. All I can say is I like it

Not strong enough to get 90° angle
I should have read the reviews more thoroughly before I bought it. I was really hoping it was going to take my foot out of job foot into a 90° angle. As you can see in the photos I have this foot brace as tight as it can go. Although it says not to do that. What I'm feeling is a stretch in the ball of my foot. Which is nice but it's not what I'm looking for. I need a continuous pull up 90° angle which I'm not getting. The photos I'm attaching are left foot in the brace in brace. Comparison with right foot with 90° angle. Then right foot without any dorsiflexion (matches my left basically) then if I have room for one more photo I'll take a picture of my foot without the brace on. The sad part is if I continue to look on Amazon the only other braces are basically the same style just different brands. Or another Dosh foot brace that has a clip and there's a lot of reducing it's not tight enough to get that flexion. That's probably the one I'm going to buy next. The final picture is both feet and my left foot is me trying my hardest to lift my left toes UP which I've been practicing every day. 😥 FYI brace is now off so I don't destroy it by making it super tight before I return it.

Helpful Support but Could Be More Comfortable
This foot drop brace works somewhat well and does help reduce how much I hike my foot while walking compared to not wearing one at all. It provides decent support and makes walking feel a little easier. However, it can become uncomfortable when worn all day and tends to leave marks on the skin. Another downside is that after a couple of months of use, the fastening part does not stay closed as tightly as it did in the beginning. Overall, it helps, but there is definitely room for improvement in comfort and durability.

Very helpful
I have a severe drop foot and wear a prescibed hard brace with my shoes for walking. My challenge became what happens when I take my shoes off. As the original bearfoot girl this was torture to me. I tried this based on another review I read and couldn't believe what a help this was! It is not a replacement for the hard afo but it does allow me to remove my shoes, be comfortable and walk (still using my walker) around my house without tripping over my foot. I can now wear my slippers again. In fact I just ordered a second one to carry in my backpack so when I visit my daughter I can take off my shoes and relax. It is well made and I was quickly able to master how to put it on, I struggle a bit to take it off but that is related to other handicaps that I have.

Not effective for foot drop
This device is not really effective for foot drop. It provides passive support versus devices that actively pulls the toe up .

I highly recommend if you have footdrop
This is the third different brand I am using for my foot drop. I have foot drop due to muscle loss in my lower legs. Of the three I have used this one is the most comfortable. I wear it every day all day with my shoes on I usually wear it on top of my socks. It seems like these are designed specifically with the end user in mind. They are very comfortable and the Velcro sticks very well so you can make it pretty tight The only thing that causes a little discomfort is if you make the middle strap to tight you will feel it after a couple hours. Once again, I highly recommend and will buy again .

Game changer.
Game changer. Brilliant piece of kit. Anyone giving a negative review unfortunately doesn't know their left foot from their right. Worth every penny.

Un descriptif incomplet
Elle ne convient pas. Il fallait indiquer que c était seulement pour le pied gauche. Mon problème est au pied droit ! Très cher pour quelque-chose d 'immetable.

Great alternative to my daily AFO
Having had foot drop for a couple of years I had been using a similar device which attaches to my shoe however it meant I was limited to only wearing trainers where I was able to attached the hooks. These have allowed me to wear footwear without laces easily. The orthotic is very comfortable and quite simple to use, and the Velcro is very strong. The product comes in and off easily and has come in very handy whilst on my summer holiday allowing me to walk around in lighter footwear. I wouldn’t recommend using these with heavier footwear like trainers and will continue to use my other orthotics alongside these ones.

Great quality AFO
After almost an hour of wearing this AFO I can honestly say that the quality and the material used is awesome! I am so so happy with my purchase as it was based on a hunch that this might help my foot drop cause from having MS. I can't recommend this enough to people looking for the same solution. I feel more stable and my walking pace has improved. I also feel that my hips are working more now. The finger pad is very fluffy and doesn't hurt at all. Thank you so much for creating such a great product! The price is worth the money.

Dosh AFO Foot Drop Brace
This is an excellent product that provides support and uplift to my left foot following a stroke. It is easy to fit to foot with Velcro straps and is comfortable to wear. I would highly recommend. Delivery was late due to the courier. However, the seller kindly provided compensation for the inconvenience.
