Nicest earplugs I've used
I bought these after losing my previous set of earplugs, Surefire EP4s. Wearing the Race model under a Bell Star DLX (not the race star) on a CBR600. Turns out this helmet is made for more of a touring than sport riding position according to Bell so the wind noise is a bit louder. First off these are the most comfortable earplugs I have ever worn and the first set that have stayed in place for more than an hour or hour and a half. Cheap foam plugs seem to work their way out of my ears after 30 minutes, and the EP4s would last maybe an hour and a half before they were starting to work their way out. Also the EP4s would press on my ears just enough that they were getting a bit sore by that time anyways. I wore these for a 3-1/2 hour round trip this weekend and they stayed snug in my ears the entire time, and are comfortable enough that I could pretty much forget they were there at all. So, I absolutely love the comfort on these and if I ever lose them I'll buy another pair on that fact alone. Also great is they filter just the right amount of noise for riding. Foams and even Surefires with the caps open filter a lot of noise out, great for protection but more than needed in my opinion. My helmet is quite loud at highway speeds, and these still cut out almost all of the wind noise but when I pull up to a light or just stop to talk I can still hear people well enough to talk. I couldn't really do that with the EP4s or especially foams. I haven't tried every earplug available, but these are definitely my new favorite and I don't believe I need to try anything else now. The little insertion tool is a nice addition too, makes getting them in super quick and easy.

I'm very impressed
Bike: 2008 Triumph Sprint ST, stock windscreen Helmet: Nolan N91 w/ Nolan Bluetooth kit I purchased these earplugs out of desperation more than I did for high hopes. I had really expected my money to be wasted all of the way up until the minute I got up to speed. The helmet itself is the source of the noise, apparently around the neck roll area. I can cover that area and things quieten down but I've yet to engineer anything permanent to quieten the helmet. Over the years I've tried generic orange plugs (terribly uncomfortable), some ordinary corded yellow silicone ear plugs (uncomfortable, loud), some "Hearoes" motorcycle plugs (loud, uncomfortable), and settled on the "meteor" foam industrial ear plugs (eventually uncomfortable, quiet but not all that quiet). I'm familiar with the procedure for installing earplugs. I didn't get to use these Alpine plugs for 3 or 4 days after purchasing but ended up getting the bike out to run to my doctor's office about 30 minutes away via I40 today. I was certain that these would not work, absolutely certain. They didn't deaden sound while leaving the garage or doing any of my leaving procedure. I was a bit frustrated because I'd left my foam earplugs inside and didn't have a back-up for when these didn't perform. These are the best earplugs for riding a road going motorcycle that I've ever used by a wide margin. Typically by the time you're at 70 or 80mph my current helmet is unbearable. I'm not all that sensitive either. The helmet is twice as loud as it would be riding without a helmet. These plugs drastically diminish that wind roar. I swear they're quieter than the meteor foam plugs in the wind, but they allow other noise to be heard more easily. I'm often playing music through my Bluetooth kit but with foam plugs I'm at full volume when I reach 70 to 80mph and I still can only barely hear the music for the wind roaring. At an honest 80 to 85mph these alpine plugs block more wind and allow me to run my music at a full 3 button presses below the maximum. The difference in noise levels with these earplugs is insane. I can still make even less noise reach me by addressing the cause and blocking the helmet around the neck, but it's absolutely workable as is with just the earplugs. I'm a dealer of thousands of brands of motorcycle products and I wish that this brand were one of them. I'm going to go ahead and order some spares!

Great but don't last long
These ear pugs lasted about 100 to 150 days of actual use. They worked great and blocked out the wind while allowing the music from the Bluetooth speaker to be heard. The silicone eventually looses its ability to be inserted into the ear. That's expected per the manufacturer specs. I knocked a star off because I wish they lasted longer.

Incredible earplugs
Incredible earplugs. They fit my ears well and stay in without issue. Easily blocks all the high pitched noises at higher speeds caused by wind and loud deafening sounds in general while still being able to hear and tell what's going on around me and can still enjoy the sound of my motorcycle. Can tell what people are saying during phone calls in helmet as well. More than worth its price.

Don't make the mistake I did!
First of all, I should have watched the video. The plugs come with a tool used to insert the plugs into the ear. Not the most convenient thing to have to keep with you. I road just 80 miles testing these plugs in that time they were comfortable. As for blocking noise I would give these plugs a 10 out of 10. They do a great job at greatly reducing the wind noise. At 75 MPH the wind noise was like a slight breeze. The vehicles passing me sound like they were all electric vehicles. The electric cars well, they aren't heard at all! The horn on my NT1100 I can't hear at all, can't hear the engine of my bike either! These plugs are great for Listening to your music coming from your headset. I had to turn the volume half up to hear it at 75 MPH, however it was very clear. Now I ask how much do you rely on hearing your surroundings. If you want to hear your horn, your engine, vehicle and other sounds around you, then these plugs are not for you. If on the other hand you want almost silence and the ability to hear your music these are for you. I guess you can't have the best of both worlds. 2/23/2026 March 19, 2026 Update I stand by every thing I said earlier. After several more rides and a couple hundred miles I have this to add to my review. 1. I replaced my horn with one I had in the garage. I can hear my horn now. 2. I've made adjustments as to how I insert the plugs into my ear. 3. I've ordered the two pack, this will give me a total of 3 pair. 4. Don't make the same mistake as I did. Buy 2 pair for $29 the first time !,

Good… maybe too good. Can’t remove
Build is good, case is nice. But I wore them at the track, and after my first session they were lodged in my ears and wouldn’t come out do to how small the tag is to pull them out. Once sweaty they seem impossible to get a grip on to remove. I had to have someone get needle nose pliers to pull them out of my ears.

Quality product for hill country riding
Took my first ride with these today after being skeptical of using ear plugs on the bike. A personal game changer for me as it cut down on excess ambient noise with the wind and bike. Could hear my music/intercom on cardo much clearer throughout my entire ride and they didn't slip out. Very good product for riding in the Twisties.

Almost perfect
So far these are the best performing earplugs I've used in all my years of daily riding, with a couple caveats. Sound performance is stellar, comfort is great, and they don't get hung up on your helmet going in or out. But, there's a few glaring issues/tradeoffs for that. Firstly, size. I never thought id say this about anything but I wish the carrying pouch was larger. It's genuinely just slightly larger than a dollar's worth of quarters stacked up. It's a matter of when, not if, these get lost. On that same note, it comes with a little tube tool to assist with inserting them. This is very much necessary, and also small enough to fit inside the ultra tiny pouch - and there are no spares. If you lose this, good luck. And finally the biggest issue - if you insert these with the tiny little removal tab at the wrong spot, they can get stuck in your ears. I already had to have a coworker pull one out with pliers once, and nearly had to do it a second time. I'm not inserting them super deep, but if that tab ends up lying flush against your ear, good luck. In summary, the performance and comfort is outstanding. Just make sure you have a way to keep track of them, and take extra care to insert them so the removal tab extends into free space, not right against your ear.

doskonały komfort - idealnie wyciszają szum wiatru w kasku.
Raz na sezon trzeba kupić nowe (guma zużywa się). Są tego warte bez dwóch zdań!

These things actually work!
Plugs come with an insertion tool BUT no instructions for use. In fact the instructions made no mention of what the little piece of plastic was. ...not that YouTube couldn't help but weird. Did about 20km highway ride and so far very impressed. Music and comms (compliments of Cardo freecom 4x) very clear. Still hear the wind but no rumble whatsoever. ...of course a high cross or headwind will be the ultimate test but so far great. And very comfortable. ...not like the decibulls I tried last week. And now I've had issues removing them a couple times and have had to ask for help. Contacted Alpine but no solutions were offered. ...might have to return them

Recommend
Does what it’s supposed to, doesn’t block out general noise so you can still hear your bike and your surroundings. Only comes in one size and it comes with a small pouch which you can attach to your key rings and store the earplugs safely. Very easy to clean as well and it’s not very noticeable because it sits snug in the ears.

Efficace
