Everything worked out fine except floats were in rough shape did not use. Still worth it for edelbrock carb

This kit is as good or even better than the OEM kit. OEM kit has the same problems as this kit. YES! You have to trim a few gaskets so they fit properly, you have to do the same to the OEM kit. Float seats also screw into threads, a little tight, but we don't want them falling out when we hit 8500 rpm. Both kits are probably made by the same manufacture. Everyone needs to stop crying. Kit has everything needed to completely rebuild 1 carburetor. Doesn't come with instructions. Be a professional look them up online and download. Thanks, enjoy your rebuilding experience.

Well, you get what you pay for. Float needles did not seal. I ended up using my old float seats with the new needles. The gaskets were very cheap and paper thin, so were the floats. The floats felt like they could easily collapse with your fingers they were so thin. The venturi gaskets fit verry poorly. Definitely would not repeat. Like I said before you get what you pay for, not worth the aggravation to return. Spend the extra money for a better kit.

I liked the price of the kit. Taking into account that it's not an edelbrock factory kit. Many of the parts did not fit my 1406 carb to include important things like needle and seat for floats. So if your looking for a perfect kit, this ain't it. Good thing my needles were in good shape and don't leak.
