Great for travel! Makes a couple mugs of tea, heats quickly, fairly lightweight and super easy to use. Very happy with this purchase and would recommend.

Bought this little kettle to take on trips. I fly a lot for conventions and refuse to use in room coffee makers. This little beauty comes in handy. It heats quickly, it’s easy to use and clean and it feels safer than the kettles you can squish to compact. Tea, coffee, instant soups/noodles, oatmeal.. Conventions can be rough, it’s nice to be able to sneak back to my room for a hot drink. It also cuts down on food costs. Have you priced hotel breakfasts recently? And as someone who has to watch her food intake (anti-inflammatory, no dairy, pescatarian- only the latter by choice) I know l always have something warm if l carry my own kettle and (as a Brit) l can tell you it gets the water to exactly the right temp for a perfect cup of tea. Haven’t taken it on a flight yet but will in a few weeks. I checked with TSA and it seems to meet their guidelines. I will update this review if l have a problem. If you travel a lot like l do, or just want your own kettle for your desk or studio, this is an excellent choice.

This electric kettle checks all the boxes! It’s well-made, sturdy, compact, great price, and boils water quickly. I especially love that it doesn’t take up much room on the counter. Great quality and performance in a small package. Highly recommend!

Update - 5 minutes after my last update It lives. Not sure what happened, but back to 4-stars for this little guy. Update - April 2026 It's dead. It got a lot of use, but only lasted just over a year. Dropped my review from 4-stars to 3-stars. Still a decent purchase, just don't expect a long life. Pros-I picked this up as a replacement for a stovetop kettle that we use maybe a few times a month. We have an induction stovetop, so I've been spoiled with how quickly water boils. This now stays out on our coffee bar, and takes up very little space. Honestly, it's so quick that the small capacity isn't even a concern for our use. Cons-Small size isn't a concern for me, but if you're looking to fill 2 or 3 cups of hot water at a time, this isn't for you. No water temp control, again, not a concern for how we're using it. Definitely an issue if you're looking to use this for pour over coffee or for a specific temperature based on tea type. Just some things to consider. Great little product, we'll see how it holds up. No bells and whistles, just does what it needs to do. So far, so good!

This kettle is superb. It's well made, construction is strong, it features stainless steel internally and does use exactly 800W. It's in daily use and has been for over a year. I use it for coffee's at least half a dozen times per day. It is also often used to boil water for cooking. The kettle itself sits well on the base, the power switch is sturdy and there have been no issues at all with it. The paint finish shows no signs of fading or chipping, even with hundreds of heating and cooling cycles. Speed of boiling is fine, with it most often being filled for one cup of coffee it takes about 2 minutes... physics. Very easy to use and dependable. The internal construction also works somewhat like a thermos, keeping water hot for over an hour, which, also means the second coffee of the day can be made somewhat faster than the first. Power usage of 800W put it in mind, originally, as something useful to use with our portable solar power station, which has a max output of 800W. Anything over that and the unit will trip off, so the kettle needed to be of that rating. It is, near enough to the exact figure, as measured by the power station and a Kill-A-Watt type meter. As such and because of its reliability, my usual kettle was relegated to a cupboard and hasn't seen the light of day since. This really is the longest lasting kettle I've bought, with the full usage demands placed on it (am formerly from the UK where a kettle is ubiquitous in the kitchen)

This works very well. I am satisfied w/ the time it takes to boil the water. Some reviews mentioned, it stays on or comes on on its own but i have not had any issues. I do not keep the pot on the stand if it is plugged in or I unplug it when it's not in use. The compact size is convenient for me. I generally just need 1 cup of hot water per day. I find it easy to clean. Definitely recommend it and would order it again if I need another small kettle.

Love..love..love this little kettle. It’s perfect for one cup and can make 3 cups max. Perfect for tea time with my Mom & daughter. It’s nice looking and small which we like definitely doesn’t take up too much space. I love the black outside & stainless inside. So easy to clean..boils fast especially for one cup quick and the best part so quiet. My daughter can be making tea behind me in the kitchen and I wouldn’t even know it. I haven’t had it for too long but so far so good. I’m hopeful it’s going to last. I would purchase again & a nice little gift for someone. Great value for the price.

Warning - this product is an electrical hazard. If you buy it please be aware of the risk of injury. In my experience, the plastic bottom of the kettle melted down with only regular daily use. The plastic of the kettle bond to the plastic base. The device is a poorly made and can result in the risk of scalding from hot water spillage or electrical shock from the melting and contact of metal underparts. The kettle looks nice and it worked well for three - but then the problems of cheap material become apparent. I will have to buy a new one with better construction. Buyer beware!
