ACANA Grain Free Dry Dog Food Freshwater Fish Recipe 25lb Bag

I use this kibble as training treats for my staffy/bully mix, and I stuff kong toys and slow-feeders with it. It's a good supplement to her wet food that she has for her main meals. I stick it to the shower wall with peanut butter to lure her into the bath. She does anything and everything I ask her to for this kibble. I'm training her to be my service animal, so having treats she loves is vital. Her poo is healthy and the odor isn't terrible. Her skin was a mess when I adopted her and now it's healthier than any sensitive breed I've known, especially in the summer in the American South. A 25 pound bag lasts me a few months (3-4), so the price-point isn't bad. To save money, she eats a dehydrated human-grade food that I rehydrate for her main meals. This kibble comes in a foil-lined bag, so it doesn't get stale. This is the only kibble I could find under $100 that doesn't have corn or other fillers that I'm allergic to. I'm really thankful this kibble is available at an affordable price, and that it works so well for my animal companion.

Although a little pricey, it's worth it! My dogs love this food and now it is the only kibble we buy! My groomer told me due to my dogs allergies I needed to swap her to freshwater fish diet and it has helped so much! Unlike a lot of "fish" flavored foods, this one has barely a smell.

Dog approved and is good quality.

Dogs love it

I switched my chihuahua-mix to ACANA Grain Free Dry Dog Food, Freshwater Fish Dog Food Recipe last summer because her skin was dry, flaky, itchy, and she was licking her paws a lot. Her vet said to switch her to a grain-free fish based food in case of food allergies and also increase her fish-based fatty acid oil intake. My dog LOVES this food and her skin has improved so much. Her coat is nice and shiny and her skin is no longer flaky. Her fur is shiny and sleek now and people always comment on how soft she is. Full disclosure, around the same time that I changed my dog to this food, I also started giving my dog weekly baths with Davis Sulfur Benz Shampoo for Pets, 12 oz. I buy both the Acana and the shampoo from Amazon. I must note that previously, I had wasted money on other foods and a bunch of other prescription dog shampoos and wipes, and NOTHING else had helped.

All 7 of my dogs love it. I’ve tried varieties of ACANA and my dogs all seem to favor this freshwater fish as well as the newer butchers cuts option which I seem to only find in smaller bags though.

It have a strong fishes 🐟 smell of the food. My dog smell like fishes in her mouth after she ate. The package is oversized its hard for me to bring upstairs when the box is 3 times of the size and its a square box 📦. Other than that its good my dog seem to love it .

Good ingredients, I can read and understand everything in this food as dog food is so bad for your pets health it’s nice to see some company making good food for pets with good ingredients
