Bizzy Bear: Do-It-Yourself Day

We love the bizzy bear series as my son is super tactile and has busy hands. They have cute illustrations, very colorful, and different activities on every page. The frustrating thing about this particular book is the “drill” page, which is my son’s favorite page and the tabby is too small for him to manipulate himself so he brings the book to me, crying, for me to do it because he can’t get it to work himself. It’s too small and difficult even for me to spin it (pic includes). He has also already bent the hammer on the front. I find on the books we have there is always one weak activity that he manages to destroy right away. Sigh. But my kid is hard on his books.

This is a great Bizzy Bear book. My toddler likes to mimic the sounds of sawing and drilling when we're playing with toys book. The mechanics are great in this Bizzy Bear book - very fun and interactive. The words at very simple and repetitive like all the Bizzy Bear books, but the illustration and mechanics mature up for it! In this book, Bizzy Bear builds a rocket-shaped tree house.

My 19 month old has loved every Bizzy Bear book she has seen and this one is no exception. Her daddy does carpentry as a hobby so is very familiar with the tools in this book which I think makes her like it even more. She loves to manipulate each page. She is not easy on her books and as you can see from the picture, she is working on pulling Bizzy Bear's face off the front of the book, but tape has definitely helped bring these books back together!

Like: Purchased entire Imprint collection. All boardbooks contained the expected movable parts we've come to love! All books were received in great condition and were well packaged.Dislike: (Other than some of the book cover photos posted by the Seller(s) indicated no moveable piece in the cover, which caused me to wonder whether or not the particular boardbook contained moveable parts), none.Reason: Gift purchase.

Bought this book after borrowing Bizzy Bear Race Car Driver from the library. Kid loves race car, not this one as much. I'm in the same boat as her... DoitYourself is good though. Well made.

Came quick and in good condition. Though I have to say any time I have received a damaged item Amazon is always quick to replace. The book seems durable, it was a gift for a friend's 18 month old and he's chewed on it a great deal. He fell in love with my daughter's Bizzy Bear books, so I sent him his own and according to his mom he's obsessed with the hands on nature of the book.

Great book. I bought lots of Bizzy Bear book as the gift favor to my friends. The kids all liked the books very much. I felt they're very happy and so as me. I will definitely buy them again for my kids. She liked to read it as well!

Cute, well constructed board book. Loved by grandchildren ages 1 and 3. Have purchased 3 different stories.
