The Heart of Leadership: Becoming a Leader People Want to Follow

I am a pretty slow reader, but I read this book in four settings, over four days. I just kept wanting to hear the next concept!what does it really mean to lead! Answers inside.

Mark uses stories to get five points across that are very useful. I've been in one management position or another for the past 40-plus years. This book caused me to take a step back and do some reevaluation of some of my strengths and especially weaknesses.

Excellent Read. Will read more once and complete the work book. I have a lot of work to do as I need a lot of fixen , prayer and most of all the Lord’s help .

While this is probably the last book in his series it has some good points. Many of them are repeats of previous books but still refreshing and written well. I am going to take these principles and apply them to my life.

This is a good read. I found myself taking notes & re-reading a lot of it, as it really hits home & is very relevant to our daily lives. When we change our mindset and focus to how we can help or serve others from the norm of "what's in it for me" mentality, our life will change and change for the better. All of this author's books are motivating & inspiring. I bought ebook format & wish I had bought the physical copy for easier notes!

The chapter layout made this a readable book for any one. The content was perfectly laid out and kept you intrigued all the way to the end. This will be a book I will come back to yearly as a resource for leadership and development personally and to share with Others!

Mark Miller did an excellent job of putting the subject matter into perspective that is easy to understand and providing realistic examples that readers can put into practice

Read this book for a leadership program for my job really great. Learned a lot of things. If I could have read this book when I was younger things would be different for sure. When my kids become of age I will be passing the book on to them to give them the knowledge at a young age

Loved this book - straight forward, easy read. I listened to the book on Audible while reading along. Along with the Brené Brown books I read this summer, they have helped me in my leadership role towards building a better culture and climate in my workplace. A must read if you are a leader.

I liked the story and there are some really good moments, where reader can easily reflect it to own life. Reading it was also very easy - spent just 2 days.
