Lenovo IdeaCentre H530 Desktop (57327459) Black (Discontinued by Manufacturer)

So far so good. It got here in record time-3 days-wow! It also came with a wired keyboard and mouse that I wasn't expecting. I hate to say this: I got confused reading everything about everything.Can't wait until the monitor gets here and I can hook it all up. I'm sure I'll edit this. I've been waiting a long time for a great desktop and this could be my dream come true.BUT IT IS HUGE. I thought it would be smaller .

I purchased this computer for my younger siblings to use as they learn to navigate a computer efficiently. The CPU is powerful enough for any basic user (simple web-browsing, light flash based gaming). However, if you need it for serious gaming at all you'll need to install a dedicated GPU and even that will only go so far with the processor provided. The kids who use this are not kind to it and it's still kicking strong after many virus removals 3 years later.

So far so good! Still learning my way around the Win 8.1. Otherwise I think this is a seriously great deal. I've been testing it and graphics performance and speed is great. I'm not gonna be doing any crazy gaming or anything, but so far my GoPro editing app is performing super fast, where on my previous desktop it didn't know what to do at 1080p videos. It is a great buy.

came with built in virus

I've had no problems at all, although I did expand the memory from 4GB to 8GB and added my extra HD from my old XP computer.

PC has exceeded expectations. The built in Wifi, the HDMI port and Windows 8 made this a great deal.

I wanted to know if this box would accept an ssd drive to speed it up a bit and if there would be any issues or problems in installing one . I called lenovo technical support . Incredibly , I don't believe the tech support guy even knew what an ssd drive is , was or ever will be. First he said no ..then got off the phone for 30 seconds and came back and said yes ...but ... I would have to buy a new operating system if I did that and I would void the warranty !This is freaking Lenovo TECHNICAL SUPPORT ???

love this desktop. fast and easy to work on and comes with everything you need to manage material.
