What I liked about this bag was that you can definitely fit a water bottle. BUT the way the bag is constructed that the bag gets too heavy and it topples over. If you want to carry a small bottle then this will definitely work. I travel to NYC so a small bottle does not work for me. This is a lovely bag and I had a hard time returning it. I had already read the reviews and I know that topple over was a concern so I made sure that tags and original packing was on and bag was not used. Sadly I had to send it back. Search goes on! UPDATE: I ended up repurchasing the bag. I could not find any other bag that met my needs so I will just have to carry a smaller water bottle. I recommend this bag,

I’m always on the lookout for a good Disney bag. My reusable water bottle fit perfectly. The zipper section was just big enough for my small cardholder/wallet, sunglasses, pill container, and chapstick.
