Bandai HG 1/144 Mobile Suit Gundam The Witch of Mercury LFRITH Model Kit

This 1/144 scale High Grade Gundam model kit was a blast to build. The designs from The Witch From Mercury anime are all excellent and Bandai has translated them perfectly into plastic. Once assembled, the Lfrith has excellent range of motion for tons of posing. Like most HG kits, she is full of opportunities for customization. I plan on panel lining, especially her shield which out of the box is plain, but you can paint or add the water slide decals available separately. I went all in on this line of kits and the Lfrith is definitely one of my top 5.

Good little cheap Gundam build

Arrivednon time and in perfect condition. I absolutely love its design and the cool options to separate and divide up the bit funnels pieces of the shield to go directly onto the body. It's the first time I'd ever seen a gundam like this one. It's fairly sturdy and articulate, but i wouldn't say *very * articulate. After all, there are no polycaps made of soft plastic in the Witch from Mercury gunpla. Its unique and interesting design made it a lot of fun to build, and, ya know, try something new you've never really seen before?

Out of all the kits I've built, this was one of the easiest, and most enjoyable yet. Feels sturdy, looks good, and doesn't really need stickers or panel lining to look good. If you're a beginner looking to get into this hobby, this is my top recommendation.

Amazing kit! I love the colors, the articulation is great, and the overall look is super cool. The only problems mine has are loose shoulders and a piece for the shield missing out of the box, hence the 4-star rating, but that's only my experience. I'd recommend checking this one out!

The quality is pretty good it's a solid build the articulation is amazing the size is good and the price for the amount of plastic that came in the box is decent with some panel lining looks good

For my first gundam, I didn’t expect 1/144 to be this small. And it’s unexpectedly detailed for the panel lines. The stickers were extremely small and tricky to put on. But it if you have those long and thin tweezers, it’ll be easy and not too difficult. The manual is detailed enough, but the pictures that shows the orientation of the pieces can be a little confusing for a first timer. I sorta messed up bc I put on a piece backwards and it took foreverrrr to take it apart. Idk if the company sends spare parts or not. Worth looking into. One more thing is that the joints in some parts are a little loose than the others. The hand holding the gun seems little loose in the joint. It’s not firm. And the balance of the gundam itself seems wobbly. Which is why I’ll invest a base stand bc I don’t like wobbly stuff. Makes me anxious. If there’s a MG or PG version of this gundam, sign me up!

Really good kit, my bf loved it

It was a super fun build. Took me 3 days and I took my pace with it. I enjoy putting things together so it was perfect to keep me occupied and away from my phone for a couple of hours. I do recommend getting some additional tools with it like a nipper. Scissors don’t work as good. All in it was a fun experience for the price. I’m gonna get 1/100 scale next!

Podem co prar sem medo. Chegou uma semana antes do previsto. Não houve problemas no translado e chegou tudo certinho.ainda não montei, mas coloco aqui a foto depois. Agora tenho a gêmea da aerial para coleção.

This was my first foray into "Gunpla" - I am an experienced model builder and decided to try one, because who doesn't like giant fighting mechs? If you're used to Airfix or Citadel kits, this is a breath of fresh air - the sprues are precisely made (in multiple colours - this was new to me!) and are easily snipped off, requiring minimal filing. And although I did use glue for some parts (knee and thigh boosters which are a little loose), it is not really needed. Some stickers are provided for detailing the eyes/sensors and chest piece - though this kit comes with a pre-decorated chest piece as well. Most of the stickers are tiny, so some tweezers are essential to position them well as you won't get much of a second chance. The finished model looks great if you want a clean look, I have painted weathering/damage/mud on mine as well as added some extra details like shoulder lights not covered by the sprues or stickers, but this is entirely optional. It is easy to pose so there are all sorts of nice dramatic displays you could make. Everything can still come apart so perhaps not ideal for children. The price is good, below what I would expect from a similar Airfix or Revel model and way cheaper than Citadel/Games Workshop offerings.
