Very useful little device for transferring files between tablets and laptops. Worth noting that it worked fine on my old Huawei tablet and new Asus laptop, but not on my brand new Galaxy Tab. That wouldn't read the files. Could be a tablet-related issue though. Other than that glitch, it worked well. Keychain is nice touch if you want keep it with you.

The great thing with these is that you can make your own music library and put it on a Micro SD .. and this gadget will read/play it through your Car's USB-C socket without having to give even more data away to sign up to some streaming service that will, virtually certainly, sell your data to a third party, or have it hacked because of poor security.

I speed read the reviews on this one and hindsight has given me 20/20 vision to show why you shouldn't do that!I brought this because I thought my old one was broken, now I'm glad its not it was a dodgy SD Card.I'm not normally one to put down someone else's product because after all they are just trying to make a living, but this time I just can't stay quiet and let others buy something so unfot for purpose.This Micro SD card reader is bad on many different levels, but firstly it has to be the fact that it is near impossible to get a Micro SD Card in the reader at all. I dont know if the slot is misaligned with the circuit board or something is the wrong size or maybe the card carriage inside is just bent. The next challenge is plugging it into the computer or adapter or phone whichever you are using. Around 60% of the time its not recognised by the machine or if the machine recognises you have put a card adapter into it, it doesn't recognise it as a card reader, its just says unrecognised device. If by some miracle you can get the card into the reader, then you have about a 40% chance of it actually reading the card.All in all, I would suggest you avoid this Micro SD Card reader and spend a little extra to buy one that has a better chance of working correctly.

Depends on device, works 70% of time

Inexpensive and works well. Did not run speed test which would in part depend on card.Like the fact that unit is small. Don’t like these long usb sticks at all.

I was getting fed up having to bring my microsd card in and connect to my computer everytime to download my dashcam footage. This makes it so much easier to do straight away in my car to my phone. Easy connection, fast download, great value for money and good build quality. Size is great and clips to my cars keys.
