This dashcam is one of the best in the budget category. Initially I had issues to get live video on my iPhone even though there was no issue on my old android phone. Customer support is excellent and they guided me and pointed out the probable issue in ios setting by disabling mobile data for the youmera app which resolved the issue.A point of caution is to avoid formatting the micro sd card from the Youmera app in case someone is using memory card of more than 32gb as it forces FAT32 format on 64 or 128gb card which may damage the card if done multiple times.Installation of the camera is very simple-could do it myself. Length of the power cable is sufficient and goes into an USB port (even a 12V adapter is provided in the box).Overall video captured by this card is very clear (of hd quality), license plate readability is good during the day and fairly okay at night. Using a CPL filter enhances the video quality and colour tone. One observation is that for every jerk (even the car tyre encounters a big pothole) in the car, camera captures an emergency snapshot-it is supposed to do that for a crash.Captured videos on the micro sd card is of 1 second each. Downloading videos from the memory card to the phone (tested for both iPhone and Android) are smooth but by default videos of 3 minutes (max) length gets downloaded as single file using Youmera app. If anyone wants to make a whole trip video, this needs to be done by downloading all the video files into a laptop/desktop and merging them using video editing software.Overall this Dashcam is a good buy and value for money.

Good video quality even at night. Doesnnot heat up during long drives. Records audio too. But of a hassle to install the wires initially but once done, no need to worry about it again. Buy memory card recommended by the company.

Useful but camera quality is not adequate

I bought this dashcam as they boasted that this lasts long since it doesn't have a screen and it is using super capacitor yada.. yada.. But it stopped working after couple of months. The WiFi is not there any more.The USB adapter is also of low quality. It blew the fuse in the car one time. I had to replace it with a good quality USB adapter.When it was working, it was easy to use. I think, a small screen on the device is completely waste. All you can see is that it's working or not. That can be done using lights! Or just to take settings menu, that's all. But you can do the same through the app easily. You can easily view and download the files in the app.

The camera is easy to install, we can get going in few minutes. Picture quality is decent in low light as well.It would be great if we have a way to stop recording when we don't want i.e., when the car is parked and we are just checking previously recorded videos. One more good to have feature : the camera should be able to connect to another wifi (like home wifi) so when my phone is connected to same wifi, I can view/download the videos as well have have data connection on my phone. currently, we have to connect to the camera's wifi, there is no other option.
