Great for what it does
Only had this a week, but so far so good. For the price, it is exactly what I need. I printed a 133 page user manual and it took about 4 minutes, and that's with duplex printing and doing it over wireless.Others have said they had a lot of issues with setting up the wifi features. I had no trouble at all. I followed the very simple instructions at the HP website and after downloading the app on my Mac, was up and running with wifi connection within two minutes. Easy peasy.

Perfect for Our Needs
My family loves this printer. It was easy to connect our phones to print whatever we needed. It’s fast, has good quality printing and at an affordable price.

Mac Owners Beware!
HP tells us this is an AirPrint printer. I guess it is…if you’re printing from an iMac. But the HPSmart app does not always work with an iPad or iPhone, which used to be no problem on our old Brother printer until Brother stopped updating the drivers. I went through HP support and the first level is strictly for hardware problems. Once we determined all my devices could “see” the printer I got referred to the HP Smart (software) desk. “We’ll be happy to help you if you want to pay $29.99 a month for all your devices or $$99 a year for a single device.” But can they really help me? The hardware gal seemed mystified that the HP Smart app (on all devices) could detect the printer but could only randomly connect to print. If anyone has a good suggestion for a wireless laser printer that works, please let me know. In the meantime, if you are a Mac user I would strongly advise staying away from this model, and indeed, the entire HP line. They claim to be AirPrint compatible but it looks like that’s only if you’re willing to pay as much for support as you did for the printer.

Great Home Office Printer!
Great Buy! I purchased this printer on sale to replace a 12 year old HP Officejet Pro and it took me all of 5 minutes to setup. Works like a charm!! Highly recommended men’s!

great printer for price—but pain to install on wireless
Printer is great, inexpensive, works for what I wanted it for as a downstairs complement to a larger multi-function ink jet I have in my office upstairs .But a pain in the butt to get setup. Ended up needing the printer usb cable (you’d think they would have included one!) to get the wireless info loaded as there is no touch screen on this model….but now working on just wireless just fine. Was about to pack everything up last night and return it—-had to reset my router a couple of times (which made other things, like my echo devices go nuts). But it finally started working. I can now see both printers from both desktop and laptop, as well as AirPrint accessible from multiple iPads and my iPhone. I spent 40 years working in IT and I knew it wouldn’t be as easy as HP says (unless you have one device, one printer, and connect them with a physical cable!!!)…and not even 100% sure why it finally started working, but it does. Seems to be a great functional little cheap laser printer—just not magically easy to install.

Great printer for my needs.
Doesn’t print color but oh is it dependable and ink cartridge at least doesn’t need changing after a few sheets printed.
