Cummins Onan P4500I Portable Inverter Generator, Power Inverter Dual 5V USB Ports for Mobile Charging, Gas Powered for Backup Home Use, RV & Camping - 7.3 HP 224cc OHV 4-Stroke Engine W/Remote Start

I’ve used this for about three months now, camping, and it’s been great. It starts up every time the remote works great, and it gives me the power that I need when I need it.

Great little generator for camping. Not as quiet as described I think, but not obnoxious either. Quiet hours, you will most likely have to shut it off.

I bought a Generac non-inverted 8500W EFI model from Costco and it wouldn't start so I returned it. Decided to give the Cummins a try. It's not the latest design, but right out of the box (after adding oil and gas) it started right up. It's so quiet, relatively speaking (it's not going to be the gathering place at your parties) and just purrs along. They don't want you running more than 50% load until it's ran for 5 hours, so I let mine run to that point before hooking it up to my 5th wheel. Turns out my 50A 5th wheel doesn't even use 50%, at least without running AC which I didn't try. My normal hookup is only 30A, so I have no concerns with this generator being able to supply my trailer. In fact, my voltage stays up at 120 while running on the generator, whereas it drops badly when running on the park power. Changing the oil is a bit of a challenge. The body panel that covers the oil area for some reason does not line up with the oil drain plug and it's a very tight space, so it's extremely difficult to get any kind of wrench on it. I just bought a swivel head ratcheting box wrench to hopefully reach it easier in the future. I love the luggage-style handle that lets you move it around easily. I'm in the gravel and on uneven ground, so a 4 wheel setup is a problem. Tilting it up by the handle and rolling it on 2 wheels works very well. I'm very happy with the purchase.

Love this unit, the handle the lite 98 lbs is very manageable. The remote start is a great feature also. It’s very quiet. I now have owned this since Dec. this unit has ran every night when temps drop below 20 degrees. With temps 15 below zero on many nights this started and ran flawless.aThis has been a job saver for me, I can't say enough.

My friend purchased one of these several years ago and I had to have one. It’s so quiet it doesn’t affect anyone at our campsite when camping. Starts fist try every time. It’s a work horse for sure!

I bought 2 of these generators with parallel kit. Delivery was great but once I put oil in them and got them started they ran for about 4 hours and then both shut down. Couldn’t get them to start again and after looking into it further 1 is leaking oil and the other not sure what’s going on just won’t start. Called manufacturer and they told me to stop by local dealer for repairs and or replacement. Can’t get me in for 2 weeks to look at them. In the meantime I had to go another generator to use until I can get replacement or refund.

This is a great inverter generator. Came with easy to follow instructions. Need to fill oil (supplied BT manufacturer) need to hook up battery, add fuel. Easy start button, quiet, powers small A/C, excellent for running tools or small RV trailer.

I purchased this to use with my toy hauler camper and it's worked great, very quiet allows me to use everything within the toy hauler without a hitch I haven't had any issues with it. A few of my family members have purchased the same one for themselves also to use with a camper or living quarter horse trailer and they also haven't had any issue with it at all. I love the remote start and shut off key fob it works for a good distance.
