Hydro Flask Coffee Mug – Insulated Stainless Steel, Non Spill, Leak Resistant Travel Mug 12 Oz Indigo Blue

This is a review of Hydro Flask Stainless Steel Reusable Mug - Vacuum Insulated, BPA-Free, Non-Toxic I really love this 12 ounce Hydro flask insulated mug. The coating of the outside of the mug is kind of soft feeling and when you put it on a hard surface it doesn't clink like something that would just be plain metal. I also like the way that the spout opens and closes on the top. Although the spout cover is not leak proof, that doesn't bother me because this is a coffee mug, and I don't normally place a coffee mug on its side. I also like the rounded handle which is very comfortable to put my fingers through and whether you put two or three fingers through it then you can use your little finger or second finger to sort of go underneath it and support the mug. My only minor issue is that they recommend that you hand wash this and I think that's probably to protect the finish on the mug. I really like the look of the mug and I don't want to risk it so I will hand wash this, and that's not that big of a deal. My Ninja coffee make brews coffee at 177°. I've measured the temperature using a digital thermometer and an hour later the mug still keeps my coffee about 150 to 155°. An hour after that it's still warm enough to be comfortable drinking but not what I would call tepid. So this basically keeps my coffee hot for two hours which is awesome. I like the different colors that this is available in. I think it's a solid purchase.

We have four Hydro Flask products, including this one; Mom uses it every day for water. It also keeps any beverage cold or hot. The top is great because it keeps the liquid cold or hot. Dishwasher safe, never fades, keeps beverages cold for hours, and ice will not melt for 2- 3 days if kept in the fridge. We also have two 32 oz tumblers and a 20 oz water bottle—the stainless steel and handles are really well made and easy to grip. No leaks.

This is a need! Keeps your drink hot/ cold for so long. Comfy hold and super cute. It’s a must need if you only have normal coffee cups

I am absolutely thrilled with my new 12 oz Hydro Flask Coffee Mug in Trillium Pink. This mug is the perfect size for my morning routine, fitting neatly under my home brewer and feeling comfortable to hold. The insulation is fantastic; it keeps my coffee steaming hot for hours, which means I can actually enjoy it hot even when I get distracted. The lid is what sets it apart, though—it is truly leak resistant, and while I wouldn't throw it upside down in a backpack, it handles jostling in the car perfectly without any accidental spills. The Trillium Pink color is vibrant and cheerful, and the stainless steel is easy to clean and doesn't hold onto old coffee smells. It is durable, stylish, and exactly what I needed for a reliable daily travel mug.

My New Year’s resolution (which I started halfway through December) was to cut out energy drinks, and I needed a mug that I could bring to work that would keep my tea warm, even when I stepped away from it for too long. I have a 32oz Hydroflask from college I still use, but don’t want to put anything other than water in that one. The 12oz is the perfect size for my batches of hot tea, and it fits in my cup holder for my car (which has a gap for the handle to fit in). While it still keeps my tea hot a lot longer than just a regular mug, it doesn’t keep it comfortably hot for longer than an hour or so if left unattended with the lid fully on, which I think is a fault of the thinner, less insulated lid, as well as probably the size being so small. If the lid was a bit more insulated, it could probably stay hot for longer, even at this small size. I usually drink my tea within the hour, but there are times my ADHD takes over and I forget about it, and come back to a warm-to-tepid cup of tea after a couple hours. Great mug if you’re relatively quick about drinking your tea, though (within an hour or so of brewing). The lid isn’t spillproof, but I haven’t really knocked this over. The bottom of the mug is the same matte, almost silicone-feeling texture as the rest of the mug, so it’s not prone to sliding around on a desk easily. Haven’t tested it in a dishwasher, as I prefer handwashing, but I’m sure it’ll hold up just fine.

This Hydro Flask insulated stainless steel coffee mug performs exactly as expected. It keeps beverages hot for significantly longer than a normal ceramic mug, which makes a noticeable difference if you tend to sip your coffee over time rather than finishing it quickly. The build quality feels solid and durable, and the insulation works well without making the exterior hot to the touch. It’s comfortable to hold, and the lid fits securely, helping retain heat while reducing spills. Cleaning has been easy so far, and it doesn’t retain odors or flavors. One thing to note is that, like most insulated mugs, it’s slightly heavier than a standard mug, but that’s expected given the construction and insulation. Overall, this is a well-made, reliable coffee mug for home or office use if you want your drinks to stay hot longer without needing a warmer or microwave.

Love this cup!!! I hate cold coffee unless I intentionally make iced coffee, and I always throw it away when it cools off. When I found this Hydro Flask mug, I grabbed it and my coffee stays HOT until I am done with it! Loving it so much I got my husband one and we got the 24 oz ones as well which has saved us on long errands to keep our drinks cold in this 100-degree weather I strongly recommend!

This is a nice mug and keeps my coffee hot for hours. However, the lip of the mug with the top on causes the coffee to drip. If I try to slurp the coffee, it's a bit too hot. Since I've used the mug, I probably cannot return it. So, buyer, beware. I think another person mentions this issue.

Great purchase, keeps hot and cold for extended trips in the garden. Just what I needed, no more floating debris in my cup and still hot as if I’ve just made it, and the size is just about right for a generous size mug, that was exactly what I was looking for. Would definitely buy again.
