After reading the fantastic book “How to think like Leonardo da Vinci” which I loved. I had to also have this hardcover edition of “How to think like Leonardo da Vinci Workbook by Michael J. Gelb. I purchased this volume for a bargain price on Amazon.This book goes into greater detail on the various mental exercises and other intellectual projects to do if you desire to think like Da Vinci. This book also strongly urges you to carry a note book around and record everything you see. This book actually has two sections. The main part covers the seven Da Vancian Principles of Curiosita, Dimostrazione, Sensazion, Sfumato, Arte/Scienza, Corporalita and Connessione. Each topic has numerous detailed exercises. Indeed, it would take you years to complete these exercises. If you turn the book over you come to the notebook section which has a quote on the bottom of each page.This workbook is designed to be used after reading the original volume “How to think like Leonardo da Vinci.” If you love intellectual challenges and other mental exercises you may want to check out this volume.Rating: 5 Stars. This requires a big commitment. Buy if you are a committed and dedicated artist. It helps you develope in many new ways. I was amazed at my thought processes that came to me as I began to read.

Michel Gelb is an interesting writer and thinker. This book has quite a bit of overlap with his other book (How to Think Like Leonardo DaVinci) - but after all , it is a companion workbook. You will not likely find another book constructed so that read in one directions, it is a workbook, and the other it is a journal and exercise notebook. I like his way of getting your thinking jump started.

This is an excellent workbook that is a must purchase if you have bought the book How to Think Like Leonardo Da Vinci. Michael Gelb has put much thought into this workbook and how it can help people to explore themselves as cultural, social, and creative beings. I use this for my Gifted and Talented students in my class also. This is a raise-the-bar for yourself and others kind of book. Highly recommend it!

I was looking for something to share with my daughter for her Home school projects but fell in love with this book and workbook for myself instead!This is a wonderful book to thrill and inspire you to learn new things about yourself every day! Why rush through it?! It was meant to be savored slowly like wine and cheese so don't rush your way through it!I AM a Leonardo da Vincian Thinker!

I bought this book and the companion workbook, read it, then had a presentation done for my professional organization of which I am the state president this year. It was smashing!I recomend this to anyone who is interested in learning how to "think outside the box" and to really explore how to think and approach everyday things in a different manner.These books lend themselves well to seminars for groups and for academia.

This is an amazing book. The excericises and ideas contain here really make one think. Some I have incorporated into my life, some I am busy learning, but this is not a book you read in a day or two. This is a life time learning process. I love it,
