Fera Pets Algae Oil for Dogs & Cats - Vegan Omega 3 Oil, 8 oz

Absolutely love this product! I mix it in my dogs pumpkin and shes obsessed, who knew she'd love algae oil? Im writing this review because I have been giving her a half dose for a little over a month and recently I noticed a huge improvement in her pain levels. I started tapering her off her carprofen for her arthritis and she hasn't had a bad day, or a slow day. And before I had to give her sometimes two pain pills daily to manage her limp and arthritis. So, mobility has definitely improved. And hopefully when I start giving her the full dose some of her paw symptoms clear up a little more. Highly recommend this product.

I did a lot of research and this product came up as one that would provide the benefits of omega-3 but not trigger pancreatitis which was important to me as my dog has aihstory of this. Initially I used a syringe to put it directly into my dog's mouth but my vet said this might upset his stomach. One day he wasn't eating his food so I thought to just squirt it from the syringe directly onto his food. I did this and he started eating right away so I use that delivery method now. He is very picky and sometimes doesn't want to eat but if I use a spook and hand feed him (he is a very small dog) I can usually get him to eat. He seems more energetic and generally better off since using this. I haven't seen any ngative effects that I can point to as of now.

Cat enjoys! Stinky, but what else would you expect? Has improved shiny coat and skin improvement!

Great stuff. My dog loves it and his coat is like silk. We cannot believe it. We make his food at home. This is a must to maintain his health. Great product.

Seed oils, Linoleic acid / omega 6’s are very inflammatory in general. True Omega 3’s are only available from animals and wild caught seafood.

I had to slowly introduce this oil for my dog, but she is so far enjoying it.

Very strong fish smell, i am confused, i was looking for something vegan because my cat hate fish, they recommended this one,,, if cat eat fish maybe ok, not works for us

Great product! Does have a bit of a marine smell to it, which my picky chihuahua notices, but I hide it with a beef topper. She gets the benefits of algae oil now and we are very happy with it.

My dog (11 yes) loves the taste of this oil, and we are seeing positive health benefits in him. Unfortunately Amazon increased the price of the product by almost $20! Bought it twice at $29 previously, now it sells for $49 a bottle!!! Looking elsewhere to purchase, since I have to buy this every other month.

It's great to have a vegan source of Omega 3 for my dog. She does eat fish, but this helps cut back on the amount we buy. I try to be more conscientious about what we're doing to the planet. However, the price is so high, I'm shopping around for another brand.

I was recommended by my vet to give my dog omegas for her joints. I was happy to find this as a vegan alternative to fish oil. My dog absolutely loves this stuff!
