They hardly ever open in the washer
I have lost count on how many times I pull these out of the washing machine, and find them still full to the line. Or worse having it open right before the load is done, and having it pour all over clean clothes.... making me have to wash them again. Even when I adjust the washing machine to 'fabric softener on', it still doesn't work. These dispensers break easily, and don't work properly.... so quite frankly I rather not use them at all. Do yourself a favor. If you really can't do without fabric softener, replace your washing machine with one that has an actual place to pour fabric softener. I'm surprised they even make ones without them. I didn't notice when I bought mine, and now I'm stuck with it.

WASHATERIA perfect
These dispensers are great for commercial washers. I tried the dispensers on the machines and watched the softner go in with the detergent. I am very happy with the way my clothes come out of the washer with the Downy Ball. I fill them before going to the laundry, using sandwich bags to prevent leaks, until I toss the balls in with the wash.

Don't buy if you have a newer washer!
Not sure if it is a function of the ball or the lack of water, in washing machines, that is now being forced upon us by the EPA, but the ball does not empty of all its contents. When I remove the clothes, I get raw fabric softener on my cloths, and that stuff stains... I have ruined a many of white shirts due to this.

Great product ! just fill halfway below medium and it will fully drain out of the dispenser ball.
Great product! just fill halfway under medium and it drains out completely. I use it with vinegar to disinfectant my clothes. I noticed if you wash anything above halfway below medium it leaves left over and doesn’t drain out of the dispenser ball. Thank have a good day!

These come in handy!
I really like using these because I don’t have to rush or forget to add the fabric softener to my washer! You just fill them up with softener and toss in the washer when starting the wash load!

It works!
It works! I was skeptical, didn't trust the cap. It doesn't open until the machine is in a spin cycle. It emptys better if it is upside down. I don't have to set the timer and run downstairs to put fabric softener in anymore.

Better value to buy pkg of 4 than individually.
We like the product very much, just very surprised at the price some vendors were placing on this ,"plastic ball" . I will probably never use all four, but will share with friends and family if needed. Much better value in 4pk.

It works!
Our new HE washer has taken some getting used to, especially since it seems to prefer to consume only the most expensive laundry consumables. The Downy ball, though has proven itself a new favorite, right next to the studded dryer balls, because it allows the use of inexpensive fabric softener! No offense to Downy, who makes a great, but expensive product. Cleaning the ball out is not really a big deal at all, just an easy rinse every two or three washloads.

Broke first time l used it
I bought the 4 pack and first time l used one the weighted piece inside came off the peg thingy. Used crazy glue to see if that works...fingers crossed . Had one years ago l guess they don't make them like they used too
