Honestly the best filter I've ever had. It does a great job at reducing any scents or anything else that might come in the room on me. Our room is off a kitchen so sometimes you can smell the cooking and it can get to me. But this fixes that issue together with the purifier itself. I hope they never stop making these. They are pricey, but you get what you pay for honestly. They're well constructed and fit perfectly. Just make sure you occasionally take it out and wipe off the exterior pre filter and you're good to go again until it reaches the end of its life. We use ours constantly and have never had an issue with them.

I bought the Toxin Absorber Filter hoping it would handle more than just dust; I especially wanted help with basement air and litter box smells. I first ran it overnight in our downstairs, partially finished basement; it’s cool, dark, and has had moisture issues in the past. The PM reading dropped to 1; I wasn’t sure it was accurate, but it gave me hope.To test it further, I moved the unit upstairs while I cooked; the PM number jumped and the light turned red. As the air cleared, so did the reading; that’s when I really saw the filter doing its job. I also tried it in the bedroom, which stays closed up and isn’t deep cleaned often. The PM reading went up slightly; it didn’t spike, but enough to show the filter was catching something.I have seasonal allergies, and after running the purifier with this filter overnight, I woke up without the usual sinus headache. I had also hoped it would eliminate odd smells in the house more noticeably; it didn’t do that drastically, but after reading more, I saw it never claimed to remove all odors—just help minimize them. That made me trust the product more; the description felt honest.The filter is larger than expected; it seems to do a thorough job, especially when paired with the 600S. I’ve chosen to keep it in our kitchen/living area where the air changes the most. I’ll definitely repurchase this filter when it’s time; it’s made a difference I can feel!

Works great to remove the smoke odor from nearby forest fires. The weather service shows an air quality warning and you can really smell the smoke outside. But once you come inside with the air cleaner running using this filter there is no more sign of smoke. The filter lasts at least a few months too.

I have a corgi who sheds like it is his full-time job, and this filter has been a game changer. It fits perfectly into the Levoit Core 600S-P and instantly improves air quality. I have noticed fewer allergy symptoms and much less pet odor in the room. The activated carbon layer does a great job keeping things smelling clean. It is easy to install and lasts a solid amount of time before needing a replacement. If you have pets, especially a fluffy one like mine, this is absolutely worth it.

I’m so glad I bought this air purifier. Works great and fast. Just wish the refills were not so expensive.

When I buy a replacement filter supposed to be made by the manufacturer of the air filter at a high price tag, I expect the quality of the product to be on par. Right out of the box, the outskirt mesh which should trap particles before they reach the paper layer is not properly fitted at the bottom of the filter. This is not indeed a major flaw but does not match my concept of high quality product.

Fit perfectly. Excellent quality. I feel this works better eliminating cooking odors than the original filter. Worth extra money.

Don't even mess with aftermarket brands. I have 2 cats that shed and in AZ with all the dry dusty dirt and high winds. Tried aftermarket ones due to being half the price of OEM and you get 2. Our eyes kept itching and we kept sneezing all the time as well as our toddlers.Switched back to OEM and noticed INSTANTLY a cleaner smell in the rooms after a couple hours of use. Upon swapping the aftermarket ones out, I noticed the OEMs have DOUBLE the pleats the aftermarket. So yeah, you're paying less, but you're getting less. NOW, did they work? Yes, they sure did, were jammed packed full of dust/dirt/hair.So if you don't have allergy problems, or pets, you're more than likely to not have issues with the aftermarket ones. Otherwise, bite the bullet and pay the higher price and get OEM.
