CHIWAVA 4PCS 2.4" Squeak Latex Puppy Toy Funny Animal Sets for Small Dog

My 3-year old Cavapoo loves these little toys, although I haven’t given them to her all at once. Typically, she is able to chew a little hole in anything with a squeaker within hours. The first one I gave her, it took her more than a day to chew off a little ear, but she still love to play with it. The second one is completely intact after more than a week. What both of us like is that the shapes with tiny nubs make the toys bounce unpredictably. They are small and light-weight which makes them easy to throw in the house without doing any damage. I am careful to not throw them at the TV or delicate items. I’ll actually buy them again when she needs more toys. EDIT 3/19/2026: It’s 3.5 months since I first wrote about these toys. Tater is playing with all four critters. It’s a miracle that all of them are intact and squeaking! Even the one with an ear missing squeaks as long as I cover the little hole. I just added all of the Chiwawa toys to favorites so I can find them again—if or when these ever wear out.

If you have a dog that loves squeak toys then you should purchase these. They’re egg shaped toys about the size of large eggs. The squeak sound is pretty loud. My dog loves playing fetch with these toys, and because of their shape they often bounce in unexpected directions. My dog also likes putting/pushing these toys from the front under my recliner. Then he goes to the back of my recliner to fetch them by making me rock it forward. I don’t understand why he does that, but he finds it entertaining. He also likes to put them under other pieces of furniture. Usually in his attempt to retrieve them, he pushes them further underneath. Unfortunately I don’t like that game because I am the one that ends up retrieving the toys for him. I can put up obstacles to try to keep him from putting his toys underneath some furniture, but he manages to do it anyway. That game gets old quick for me (I’m over 50), so his toys often end up on the mantle of the fireplace until the next day. He’s quick to remind me the next day about getting his toys back by standing on his hind legs and looking towards the mantle. As soon as I pick up the first toy he gets very excited. These are the ONLY toys that he gets so excited about that he starts running in circles usually sprinting around the coffee table so much that he’s left panting with his tongue hanging out. Others have reported similar experiences with their dogs absolutely loving these particular squeak toys. If not for their reviews and some of the videos they posted, I probably wouldn’t have purchased these toys. I’m so glad that I bought these toys for my dog because they bring him so much joy and that makes me happy to see him happy. Just a couple of other things to mention...these toys are so wonderful that when he has them to play with, he ignores everything else around him. I can’t interest him in another toy. Lastly, the toys squeak pretty loudly. You’ve been warned that if you’re trying to watch something on TV, you might have to turn the volume up a notch in order to hear over the persistent squeaking of the toys. Your dog likely won’t be able to put them down. Addendum: 6/29/2020 These squeak toys are like an addiction for my cocker spaniel. He loves them as much now as the day they were purchased. They remain his favorite toys.

IMHO you have to ignore reviews because everyone’s dog is different. I have a 14lb Italian Greyhound. He’s not a chewer or a tugger or a frisbee player. He adores small ULTRA SQUEEKY toys. If they make different tones of squeekiness all the better. He has so much fun “hiding” these toys in Amazon boxes it’s hard to throw them away. They’re colorful but I don’t think he cares about that. They are so much cheaper than Kong toys when you consider how many you get. He likes these animals because he can grab them on body parts. They’re also great because they are super bouncy and unpredictable where they will land. He’s 10 years old and these, along with the flat but round ones with faces get him moving off the sofa! I’m buying more now! I would not give this to a strong medium or large dog. I worry they would choke and they would tear them to shreds in no time.

My dachshund Spite, has an abiding hatred and fascination for all things squeaky. He immediately attacked the first one of these with a delighted passion and it lasted 15-20 minutes before he had excised the squeaker. I was fine with that because he was both engaged during that time and satisfied with himself for having overcome a perceived enemy. The next day he got the second one and it lasted less than five minutes. Code broken and lesson learned - he dispatched the remaining ones in 10-30 seconds and looked at me contemptuously for giving him such unworthy opponents. I too learned a lesson and he has now been in protracted struggle with an old lacrosse ball for more than a month without making any headway at all. Yes, it’s an unfair challenge since lacrosse balls don’t squeak, but life is unfair even for pampered dachshunds. That said, these have their role and are inexpensive. If your dog is not a demoniac I think these are a very suitable choice. I’ve bought a few more if only to give Spite a treat and to raise his spirits after his continued and ineffectual battle against against the resolute and seemingly indestructible lacrosse ball.

I have Cocker Spaniels and they can chew up a lot of toys in about 15 minutes! This egg-shaped toy last us 3 weeks or more and the dogs still love it! The squeaker is also still working! It did not come out of the toy or break away inside and roll around like a lot of other toys.

I have a two year-old and a seven year-old dachshund and they absolutely enjoy these little squeaky toys. I have found though the squeaker falls out rather easily but while they have them they thoroughly enjoy them

The material has the perfect pliability for the dog to grab and still maintain the form. The squeak inside seems to be sturdy and protected so as not to break. So far holding up well and giving lots of pleasure to my two Dachshunds!

These toys have no resistance, they are very thin and not appropriate for active dogs. My dogs are small and they were able to destroyed them in 5 minutes, which I thought was rather fast for a dog toy and quite dangerous because of the little pieces of plastic.

My four legged boy loves them all.
