Works, but not "Smart Home" compatible
I have a few music related, laser etched, display items (guitar, drums, music notes, etc...) and was looking for a display stand/light. I saw this and thought I'd give it a shot. My goal was to have a unit that could be controlled via Echo, Siri, or Home. This is not that unit. Operation: When power is applied, unit is "off" (no way to change this, no memory of last activity). One button push = Red Next button push = OFF (!) Next button push = Green Next button push = OFF (!) Next button push = Blue Next button push = OFF (!) Next button push = Alt Green? Next button push = OFF (!) Next button push = Alt Blue Next button push = OFF (!) Next button push = Purple Next button push = OFF (!) Next button push = maybe supposed to be white Next button push = OFF (!) Next button push = Slow fade between all the above (My preferred mode) Next button push = OFF (!) Then repeat. Sadly, if this is plugged into a Smart Plug, it has no mode recall so it "starts" off. You will have to go through all the above button clicks to get to whichever mode you prefer, only to lose it if your timer/assistant cuts the power. Oh well, the search continues.
