So, servicing your bicycle isn't complex at all, provided you have the proper tools.I recently bought a triathlon bike that had clip-in pedals that weren't compatible with my cleats. I tried several times to use a long Allen (or hex) key to remove the pedals from the back, but had no luck. I tried using a piece of pipe to get some leverage, then switched to using the seat post to do the same. I just ended up bruised, tired, and frustrated.Well, I just ordered this tool. It's extremely thick so no risk of breaking it, and it took about 30 seconds to have both pedals cleanly unscrewed from the bike. It's worth the price and much cheaper and more practical than taking the bike to the shop just to loosen the pedals.Just buy it. Next time, you'll be able to change your pedals whenever you need to, and you can even lend it to your friends. It pays for itself!Also, I didn't realize this at first, but the wrench has some hex openings that allow you to use your existing Allen (hex) keys to get the extra leverage you need to remove pedals from the back of the crank. It's really a good tool, and it even has a flower shaped hole needed for those specific Shimano pedals, so you can disassemble them for servicing.Have stubborn pedals? Just buy the thing!

I needed to remove a broken pedal from my Schwinn 170 stationary bike. I broke the tool that came with the bike, so I ordered this. It worked great, nice leverage & grip. One turn and bolt loosened. I can't believe a tool this well made can be had for such a low price. Fits and works perfectly. Machined precisely. Handle is plenty long enough. I was hesitant because of the low price, but I shouldn't have been.

Had a seized bike pedal haven’t changed it in a long time like 8months and I couldn’t even budge it was close to paying someone, but when I used this and a bit or torque strength of my own I manage to remove it easily & had no issues. For the value I believe it’s worth it it’s thick too! The length is just right and it feels firmly tight

Good pedal wrench with some nice features at a good price. The hex holes are for use with an allen wrench to get extra leverage. Remember when removing the pedals - "Back Off" - wrench handle moves toward the BACK of the bike to take OFF the pedals. That way you don't have to remember which pedal is reverse threaded.
