No7 Pure Retinol 1% Night Concentrate, 30ml

This works! I had used Paula's Choice Retinol, and loved it, but it went way up in price after I used the first bottle. So, as a No7 fan, I decided to buy this, and am loving it, too. As a side note, I also use No7's Restore & Renew Face & Neck, Multi-Action Serum. It is silky smooth & makes my makeup go on more easily. It has the Matrix 3000 peptides. I'm also a fan of the No7 Lift & Luminate, Triple Action Night Cream. It smells nice and is very moisturizing. Unfortunately, their Age Renew face cream has an icky smell, so I only used one bottle and then switched to the L&L.

I’ve tried a lot of retinol products. I was a Paula’s Choice user for over a decade starting in my early 30’s. I am now 47 and have been using mostly Cereve products but have also tried lots of others along the way. This is, hands down, the BEST retinol product I have ever tried. Since I am an experienced skin care junkie I am typically not at all worried about a retinol being too harsh or having to start off sparingly. I’ve done medium grade level peels at home. So I slathered this ish on like I typically would. Two days later? Holy moly. Absolute peeling. A peel better than a 30% glycolic peel. No irritation though. No sensitivity or redness. Just good solid results. Read that again. Peeling yes. ZERO irritation, burning, sensitivity or redness. My skin looks ridiculously noticeably improved after just ONE application. Smaller pores, more plump, definitely brighter and superfine wrinkles are diminished. FWIW: After slathering this on before bed, I followed the next day with both an AM and a PM application of The Ordinary Marine serum (soley - no other products other than cleansing with Cereve Cream to Foam hydrating cleanser.) The Ordinary Marine serum is amazing too. The hydration is incredible. (If you like Elemis Marine products you will find value in the ordinary marine serum!) I’m still peeling at day 3 but in the easiest way possible and with proper prep my makeup turns out fine. Honestly this stuff is now HG status for me. I can’t wait to see what the cumulative results are. I’ve never left a review on Amazon before but I had to be a town crier about this!

This a really helpful product with lines from aging.

I've never had super sensitive skin and I'm only using this on my cheeks, but omg after just one use, my skin about melted away. It's been 4 days after the first use and my skin is still red and sensitive. It wasn't as bad as a chemical peel but close. I used the amount instructed and I also bought the soother serum that was suggested. Even though it's definitely irritated and dried my cheeks, I can see the skin texture is much smoother... just with one use!! It's definitely worth the money if you're wanting to smooth the texture of your skin and minimize lines. But be ready because it's potent. Definitely don't recommend using in the summer and maybe not in cold weather like I did when skin is already dry.

If you’re using Retinol 1% for the first time or starting again after a long break, you need to keep your skin well-moisturized before applying it. If not, your skin can get very red, and it may take a few days to heal. Use it only twice a week at first so your skin can adapt to something that strong. The next day after using Retinol 1%, make sure to take good care of your skin, keep it hydrated with serum and cream. And you won’t see results from retinol after just one week. It’s a long process, so be patient with it.

Use a product before I have used the product before and I am very satisfied with the results

I saw results in my skin's appearance. My skin looks younger, firmer, and despite my dark spots, it appears healthier. The product was too strong for me during the first two weeks, but applying a moisturizer before or after the retinol cream really helped me tolerate it every day. I recommend this product if you have used a less strong retinol before.

Individual using this product twice a week states that she sees slight improvement in skin texture. Too soon to fully comment.

Clears dry skin excellent that I otherwise struggle to get rid of. Sensitive skin should probably avoid.

I can’t find a sell by date anywhere on this product. Very odd.

Wouldn't use anything else.
