Beautiful and practical, Everyone in our family loves them
The media could not be loaded. I love the leather surface. It's even better than I thought it would be. It took me months to choose it and only 20 minutes to install. They are easy to install; just tighten the two most critical screws and the rest is a breeze. The seat and back are leather, and the wooden base feels sturdy and durable. The reddish-brown leather matches my kitchen island perfectly. It's soft to sit on, and the position of the footrest feels just right. The adjustable height allows family members to customize it to their height and needs. The metal support of the chair back is springy and feels comfortable, with a bit of a rocking chair feel. The whole chair looks sturdy and beautiful. My family and friends love sitting on these bar stools around the kitchen island, eating snacks, and chatting. The base also looks wide, thick, and stable.

The End To Looking
The chairs arrived and they were packaged with care. The chairs are easy to put together and look amazing. They are easily adjustable from a low counter top (slightly higher than a regular table top) to a high counter top. We have short friends and we have tall friends - these chairs are perfect for all. We're very pleased with them.

Lovely, but....
Wood on stool backs dent and nick easily like the old fashioned children's balsa wood airplanes - not happy with that - they would look old very quickly; also, one of the "tufted" buttons on one stool popped out and was hanging by a string after only two weeks. Too bad, lovely aesthetic, but otherwise NO. RETURNED.

Stylish
Very pleasantly surprised with the high end look these stools have. Genuine materials and comfortable. The arm rests with the openings are a natural fit for the body. Bar stool look great in my kitchen.

Not safe to sit on!!
Product defective. Extremely difficult to raise up and down. Then it stuck into one position. These chairs even feel like they can be tipped over easily. They are nice looking but safety first.

Bar Stools Black Base and Footrest,Faux Leather Bar Chair with Walnut Wood Backrest
I ordered this set of bar stools for a small bar I set up recently in a game room/man-cave. They fit in perfectly with the style and color scheme of other item in the room and really completes the look I was going for. The stools are very well made and very sturdy as well as comfortable. They come needing to be assembled but assembling them was very easy and straightforward.

Gorgeous, and easy to assemble bar stool, with a few quirks
The chair itself falls right in the sweet spot for my taste. It resembles an Eames chair, and I would describe it as a gorgeous chair to my eye. Of course, taste in furniture is subjective. The chair comes mostly assembled. You basically have to insert the stem into the base and screw the stem sleeve onto the chair base with 4 included screws using the included hex wrench. It took me about 15 minutes to assemble both chairs.I really, really like the way this looks, however it's got a few quirks that make it less than perfect.First of all, the back of the chair makes it impossible for me to sit on the chair normally. Admittedly, I'm a big guy. I'm 6"0' and 300lbs, so my body won't fit into the radius of the back. If I try to sit straight on the chair, I'm basically sitting on the edge and slipping off. Also, if I try to sit like this, my feet end up behind me. I can sit slightly sideways, which is comfortable enough. The base of one of my chairs came slightly damaged. It's nothing a little black paint can't fix, but I'm here to tell you about the things I found, and that's what I found. The height adjustment doesn't work unless you're pushing down on the chair. If you try to adjust the chair without at least pushing down on the chair, it just pushes the chair up instead of pushing the adjuster down. Not a huge deal, but I know when I have guests they're going to try to adjust it while they're not sitting on it and it won't work, so they'll assume it's broken. There's no way to adjust the back. It's screwed into place, so you can't move it.Finally, the upward pressure on the shock is not that strong. Even though I'm below the max weight recommended, it really can't hold me all of the way up. It sinks way down even when the adjustment was all the way up. I don't know if I'll damage the chair or not because of this, and maybe this is my wake-up call to finally stop drinking so much and lose some weight, but I kind of feel like these chairs are made for drinking so that probably won't happen.Overall, I think these are very nice chairs. If they hold up and keep looking like this, I'll use them for a very long time.

Cool Looking
The look and design are very appealing to me I like the walnut and leather combination. Stool assembly is quick and simple most of it is already together. Hydraulics on both stools works as intended. Handle to adjust height is easily within reach and works as intended. I found the footrest is a little too far back for me to put my feet on my wife and son didn't seem to have issue with it. Backrest is curved and low which provides me with good lumbar support, (I'm 5'9" 170lb) yet my wife and kid didn't find it as comfortable as I did. (Wife 5'8" 1??lb. son 5'11" 217lb.) Stools bracket that bottom is straight, but chair is curved so I was unable to tighten screws really tight and was left with gaps, (see pic) so it tends to creek and moves slightly. Not sure if all come that way or if I just didn't get a curved base plate. The quality of the metal, hydraulics, wood and leather are all of good quality. Has good stitch work and is well upholstered. Swivels smoothly and adjust up or down with no issue. I found it to be sturdy and comfortable. My son found it to be uncomfortable and like it easily tipped over. Wife found it to be ok but not to her liking thought the height of backrest was too low. I did find some scratches on metal, (pic) but rest was fine. I enjoy using one stool as a work stool in my garage and one in my hobby room/office upstairs.
