- Primary fermentation of fruit beers, full-bodied, malty beers, dry cider and mead
- CBC-1 is best used for refermentation purposes conducted with priming sugars such as dextrose
- Fast starting strain which can be used to ferment/referment beer in 14 days between 15-25C (59-77F)
- Can be used in primary fermentation or conditioning for ales up to 12-14% Alcohol by Volume
- Shows flocculation and sedimentation at the end of the refermentation period.
