Simple, reliable outdoor timers that just work
These mechanical outdoor timer outlets are exactly what I wanted. No apps, no programming, no WiFi drama. You set the pins, set the current time, and the schedule repeats every day. The 30 minute intervals are simple and practical for porch lights, yard lighting, and holiday displays. Build quality feels solid, and having two grounded outlets on each timer is genuinely useful. I run multiple light strands from one unit without needing extra splitters, and the short cord makes placement easier around an exterior outlet. I have used these outdoors through rain with no issues. As long as you mount them vertically and keep them off the ground as recommended, they hold up well and keep running consistently. Switch is either manual or timer.
They do what is advertised, but I was surprised to find that the timer can’t be started and then switch off at the next off marker. It would be nice if this option was available. Sometimes I like to turn something on early, and if I do so, I now have to turn it off manually.
