I use this to pick-up sticks/limbs in my yard. Unlike a name brand pick-up stick...this one has the cable on the inside wrapped which equals to longevity!! Love, Love, Love. I have purchased a lot of the name-brand ones only to have them break after continuous use. I will only purchase this item going forward.

these reachers are invaluable as I am recuperating from back surgery and cannot bend over to reach thing. also can pick up surprisingly tiny things. pencils, bits of paper, flower petals

So yes, it does pick up stuff which is great. It does what it says it does and is very light. It does take some pressure to squeeze the trigger and I feel like the grip strength is so-so. It's enough to hold most things, but not enough to stop someone from grabbing it out of the grip.My one gripe so far is that it squeaks. A lot. Every pull is just squeak squeak squeak. I got this for my pregnant wife so she has to bend down less. I'll be glad to toss it when she and my toddler don't need them anymore.SQUEEAAKKKK!!!

These are decent for the price and worked well for beach cleanup but they aren’t strong enough to grab heavy items like full water bottles.

I use one for yard pickup and one for inside the house. With a ruptured disc, this has helped so much. Sturdy product.

We have other grippers, these are the most difficult to use for older people. They work, but not as easily as others we have.Plus, they squeak.
