The lamp as it is is probably fine--a little tippy, and the legs are a little less able to stay securely in their tripod mount than I'd like. But I bought it because its product description claimed it could mount a harp and finial, which I wanted to do because I wanted to use my own 1950s shade whose lamp gave up the ghost. However, it came missing a crucial ring that holds the base of the harp in place. Amazon said they couldn't replace parts and I would have to return the whole lamp, but I could contact the company. I did that, but the company never replied. I was able to buy my own replacement ring for $5 and use the lamp the way I wanted, but it left me with no confidence about this company. Hopefully the lamp itself will last and I won't have to try to replace any other parts, but who knows? So I thought I'd share: BUYER BEWARE!

Overall very pleased with the lamp. It's slightly shorter than I would typically expect from a bedside lamp but not enough for me to be concerned about. One review I had read said be careful with putting it together. We found out quickly that if you're not careful with threading the pieces they do go on lopsided. With 2 people and a big set of pliers we were able to 'unthread' and get it right the second time. Otherwise easy to put together. We purchased 2 for either side of our bed and like the look. Would recommend in the future.

You might receive the box with no damage at all. In fact, the item is double-boxed. That won't help, though, because the shade is a larger diameter than the box can hold. The manufacturer just crams it in anyway leaving you to straighten it out. I won't be doing that either because one of the rods in the shade was also broken.

So far, I love this light!! It shipped out quickly, the package was a little light but arrived without any damage. I’m impressed by how nice it looks when completely assembled. It’s fairly tall, but sturdy. The lamp shade appears more pure white when the light is off and becomes a cream/tan shade when on. For me, I wanted a floor lamp that was modern, accented a room nicely, and was affordable...which it does all that and more. Overall, for the price and quality I’m super happy with my purchase and would recommend it to those who are unsure. Will update if anything changes!

This tripod floor lamp is much better then I expected. I have a similar floor lamp purchased from another retailer that was double the price of this floor lamp. The build quality here is on par with my other lamp at half the cost. The assembly time was less than 10 minutes with no issues with the threads on the legs. The final result is a stable, sturdy lamp.

I found a lamp just like this at Target for twice the price. We decided to order this one instead. Zero regrets! It’s perfect for the back corner of our baby’s nursery where the rocking chair will go soon. Easy to assemble, modern and good quality.

Simple and functional. We love this light for the price. The sleek metal legs with the wire running out the foot was a very nice detail; I'm not a fan of messy wires draping down an otherwise lovely lamp. The shade is made from a nice lightly textured fabric.We added a Yeelight smart LED bulb and now can turn on/off and change the colors from our cell phone.

Yes, this lamp is fun to have and use! I appreciated that it was probably the best packaging job of any product I have ever received. Every single piece is separately cared for very well. I think the manufacturer uses the axiom: An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. I laid all the pieces out on a flat surface while attaching them, and that works well. The screw mechanism that holds the shade on is screwed down on the bulb base and can be unscrewed while you attach the shade and then be replaced to secure the shade. I am happy with the purchase!

Not the most sturdy, so if you have children likely to hit the legs maybe consider that.Takes less than 10 minutes to fully assemble. No damage to product during shipment.We bought two for our living room, and what a difference they make. For the price I couldn't be happier. The 3 brightness settings are a nice feature as well. We use the dimmest one often for relaxing evenings.

While this lamp was exactly what I was hoping for in the beginning, it hasn’t held up to even a 90 day period. I’ve had to take it apart to get the lightbulb base to stay attached to the body and then the plug melted down when I tried to plug it in (yes the lamp was turned off)I’ll buy something somewhere else with a bit more than 30 day warranty this time around.

The lamp looks great and the price was fine however one of the legs did not screw in completely, looks like threading is messed up. We had to put black electrical type to mask it.

The lamp is pretty nice on daytime, the pendant is white, but when turned on at night time the light is yellowish. My order came fast, the box though was damaged and the pendant is bent in 2 places,so I will return it.
