Good flavor. Very well sealed individual strips. A bit peppery for my taste but that could be a bonus if you like a lot of black pepper.Not too tough or too dry. You definitely need something to drink it with.Excellent snack with a drink.

These are healthy and when you need a snack, you're ready, very tasty.

Pricey but good. Not a lot of flavor just pure jerky, high protien

We received the product within 2 weeks expiration date ( June 20 received, expiration July 05) . It’s hard. Chewy and tastes stale and awful. Unfortunately we can’t return it, but we don’t know what to do with the product, TRASH. Don’t sell the product near expiring PLEASE.This is our second time buying. First time was good. Not sure was the same seller on Amazon.

So I started ordering the bison and boar bars a while ago and loved them so I was expecting the texture it has which is I suppose the only plus. Let me say I really love black pepper. I put so much in my food it ends up mostly black so.. I'm a pepper fan. This has so much effing pepper in it that I was sweating through my hair. It is an overbearing, disturbingly pure peppery flavor that left me uncomfortably moist and regretful. It suggests that there is more sea salt than pepper in the ingredient line up but I don't see how that can possibly be the case. The salt exists but is only there to be body slammed by pepper. so purchase at your own risk. We're speculating that it says the other meat is beef but it's probably that Spice Weasel from Futurama. If you want to know what the jerky version of Spice Weasel would taste like, go for it. But I'm not going to be ordering these again. I can't rate the flavor lower than a four because that's uh.... That's the flavor I purchased so they did it but it's kind of a nightmare. There is apparently such a thing as too much pepper.

There were 10 Epic snack strips, but there wasn't a box. I don't mind this, but was expecting it to come in the original box.

It's my fault I didn't see that it's cut with beef and not pure venison like I was looking for. Other than that, it's greasy/oily and lacking in natural meat flavor, like something out of a vending machine. I couldn't stand more than two nibbles. I can't even feed them to my dog because they're so oily he'd end up crapping all over the house. Straight to the garbage they go.
