Roomy and Roomy! Easy Setup.
I was looking for a tent that’s roomy, yet lightweight enough for backpacking. Must of my trips are solo, so the entire load is on my back. This tent is very easy to setup and has room galore! The design of the pre-bent poles and spacing of the clips maximizes the usable space inside, without adding additional weight. Everything about this is a design masterpiece. I wish I had discovered this tent sooner.

Well thought out tent
The tent is so logically laid out...from the poles yielding a spacious cabin inside...the fly giving vestibules on either side with big doors...to the venting...even little light holders in the ceiling! Love the screening: on good weather nights to stargaze as well as the walls giving some privacy in the morning. it's listed 2P but it's perfect if you're a bit on the tall side and like to stretch out. Bravo Marmo(t)!

Unresponsive warranty service.
Marmot’s warranty service has not gotten back to me for 8 months even though I have responded on their warranty website. The tent is pretty nice, but the window fell out of the rain fly. It is only held in by glue, but the glue turned to dust and the window completely detached.I submitted a warranty claim and sent the rainfly to them and they told me to draw a large black X in marker on the tent itself, and to give them the model number and they would send me a new tent. I took the pictures they requested, but there is no way to upload new pictures on the website on the same warrant claim. I responded to the “do not respond” emails with the pictures, but they have not replied.I had been almost a year, but I still do not have resolution on a claim that they said was valid.Edit: they finally got back to me and replaced the whole tent. Unfortunately, the old tent was discontinued, but the new model is nicer in some ways.

Leaks like a sieve for a new tent
Just got back from 2 week Moto Camping trip out west. First big rain was in Wisconsin in which we received 1-2 inches of rain during the late night hours. Both the rain fly and floor of the tent leaked profusely, to the point of having to bail water out at 2 AM all the way up to the end of the rain. Everything got soaked. Even the rain fly leaked through profusely.I have had Marmot tents before with no leaks at all over 7-8 years of use.Quality control lacking on this tent and a process of waterproofing was missed completely. (Lucky me)I got it home and seam sealed all the seams in the floor and on the rain fly and also sprayed with Scotchgarde rain repellant spray-- 3 coats. Spent almost $50 additional dollars on seam sealer and waterproofing spray and a ton of my own time to get the "new" tent useable.Should not have to do this to a brand new tent.Would not recommend Marmot any more, poor quality control.

Makes a nice tent for motorcycle camping
Very easy set up. Small enough package to fit within a 40L motorcycle dry bag. The design of the bent poles really does add quite a bit of room inside. I'm impressed.

Easy to live with and reliably dry.
Just back from a 2 week motorcycle tour of Europe with this tent. Brilliant. It had plenty of rain on it and in Italy a thunder and lightning storm directly overhead one night. Savage winds beat at it but it never leaked and never got near to falling down. It is very airy but oddly very warm. It got to 1 degree on one morning on Mont Blanc so it has been tested. Ventilation works well for warmer days. Easy to put up and take down and the design when up is well thought out.

State of the art design. Highly recommended.
This is the second Marmot Limelight 2p tent I have owned over the years, and Marmot have made some clever and innovative design changes for this season. Most notable is Marmots body zone construction, creating a near vertical wall using a pre-bent tent pole that creates a huge amount of internal living space when compared to other 2 person tents. Two very large doors front and back make for very easy access for occupants, floor insulation, and mattresses etc. Large mesh coverage makes for a comfortable condensation free living and sleeping environment. We experienced heavy rain and occasional 15mph+ winds throughout most of the night during our test. The tent remained completely dry and rock solid throughout. There were also an excessive amount of ants present on the grass when initially pitching the tent, and on morning inspection non of them were able to enter the sleeping/living area.Along with the very easy pitching procedure, in my opinion, the Marmot Limelight 2p is one of the best 2 person tents available on the market. A favourite of mine, it also looks striking when pitched in the two-tone orange. Highly recommended.

Misleading Images and Title
The item shown in the images is the Limelight 3P, however we received a Limelight 2P tent. Be careful ordering from here the information is very misleading.

Marmot Limelight 2P
Great little tent designed in such a way that you achieve the maximum possible space from the footprint size. Dimensions are accurate and build quality is top draw. It’s easy to assemble and comes with sensible pegs and an adequately sized bag.
