Franklin Booth was an amazing illustrator and having this compilation of his works is wonderful addition to my reference and inspiration library. Thrilled to have a copy of his work as that I will refer to again and again.

A very good volume with great illustrations .
Great illustrations and the binding is very good. With a bit of caution at first read. The book can be laid flat or opens in the hand without breaking the spine.

A Good Volume on Booth
Franklin Booth's line work and the influence it has had on those who followed is significant. The essays within do a fair job of framing the life, social influences and historic context of this illustrator's work. It is fair to say that the reproduction of the images are very good and put on paper able to hold the resolution. Each image is worthy of careful study and is a genuine compendium of the types of work Booth did (spot drawings, cover work, title pages etc.) This said, the perfect binding was a poor choice for a volume this size and weight. I don't believe it'll last. Until it fails, I intend to pour over these pages and glean insight into the line work, compositions and methods Booth employed. Anyone interested in ink drawing, Booth and early 20th century illustration should enjoy this book.

quality
I’ve wanted a book on Franklin Booth’s work for years, and this fits the bill perfectly. It’s a big book with plenty of room to show off the very well-reproduced artwork. The artwork is stunning. He was an exceptional artist.
