I've never used a powder-type product like this before; I've always used a spray product for thinning areas. I will say this is much easier to use than the spray products, which can be difficult to control -- either getting way too much or too little. With the powder, it was fairly easy to shake the right amount in the spot you need covered.It seems to do well in hiding thin/bald spots, as well as or better than the spray-on products. The only problem for me was the color: I got 'Light Auburn' as I have light/medium reddish-blonde hair, and this powder is a little too dark. If I get too much in one area, I get very dark spots that don't blend in well, so I have to be really careful with it.My only other concern is the price; I got the 'sample size' to try it out, but I can see that buying a full-size container on a regular basis could get pricey.All-in-all though, a decent product that works as intended.
