Good product
I ordered this for my daughter's science fair project, it's a really neat little kit. It worked well, I would definitely order again. The instructions were easy to follow and the results were perfect for her experiment.

The Petri dishes were perfect for my child’s Science project. Easy to use and included instructions.

These seem to work great.
I use these to do mold testing. You can open them up in an area for thirty minutes, close, then seal with tape around them and see what grows. More than 5-6 small spots of mold after two days is supposedly an indicator of high mold levels in your house. They also come with sterile swabs that you can wipe on surfaces, then on the media in the petri dish and see what mold and or bacteria grows.

works really well
I'm an avid fan of chemistry experiments and enjoy doing experiments related to chemistry. Since the plates arrived and are in good condition, I was able to try the experiment, but the first one I tried did not work, so I tried a couple more in different places and the performance improved significantly. I would definitely buy it again and try more experiments.the picture:I tested the bacterias in various places. 4th grade science fair
These were just what we needed. The instructions in the box were very thorough. I think one was a dud because we swabbed the litter box and NO bacteria grew. Otherwise perfect!!

Fun idea but didn’t grow a thing. Several of the agar plates were dried and cracked. They all pooled so much water the bacteria just became a festering lake of drippy stink. Super disappointing

Fantastic
We homeschool and are studying bacteria. This was amazing and grew all kinds of things. We learned the toilet (before a cleaning), the bottom of a croc shoe (we live on a farm), and the dog bowl grew the most nasty bacteria. Second in line was a library book! Ewwwwwww. Would purchase again!
