Women’s Coatigan Jacket Long Sleeve Open Front Cardigan Coat Chunky Lapel Blazer Sweater for Winter Fall

This jacket is HUGE! And since I’m a small I can’t size down. It’s not very flattering at all and the material isn’t comfortable in my opinion. The quality is good though.

It’s somewhat lighter weight than a VERY similar item I purchased from a different retailer, but nearly identical otherwise. Pocket lining material (may need reinforcement), unfinished seam under the collar, and the feeling of the material are all barely distinguishable. The only difference is probably the wider size ranges and colors. The size small in this item is noticeably smaller and shorter than the sm/med in the other item, so that’s definitely a pro. I also like the wide range of colors, but hate that I can’t tell what the color would look like irl. For example, it’s hard to tell if the darker green coatigan would be as displayed on the main image, or have more blue tones like in the description lower in the listing. Other colors like apricot also seem somewhat ambiguous. It also remains to be seen whether the item material will pill in the long term, the death knell of many a favorite sweater.Otherwise, it’s perfect. Priced reasonably enough that I could keep an extra one in the car just in case, but structured enough to wear out to dinner on date night. Love.Update: Bought several of these on sale and can attest that most of the colors are just as displayed in the selection photos. The green is a true green without too much of the blue tones. The apricot is a grayish taupe without much apricot tones, in my opinion. I wear these everywhere, with a sweater or thermal underneath when it’s chilly, and over a tee when it’s warmer. I’ve even worn it to a bar with a cami underneath. It’s easy to pull the collar up if you forgot your scarf, and it’s soft and not scratchy at all, unlike the one from that other retailer. I ended up returning those other ones from the other retailer because they are too scratchy to wear over short sleeves or a cami. FYI I am 5’2”, 140lbs and top-heavy and bought the small, and it fits just right.

The weather in my town is different year round. I have many lightweight shawl/jackets but their color/weight make them less formal than is required for special meetings which happen occasionally.This garment is perfect. It has the weight of a heavier fabric, lays like a tailor jacket but is cozy and soft for the wearer.Wore it for the 1st time today and eve my husband comment how nice the color is and the design is flattering while still professional.I will make sure to purchase a spare.Update: still loving the jacket and have bought more. One concern: the pockets are roomy but not tacked down. With the weight of the fabric they distort the silhouette of the jacket, making the sides bulge out a little. I'll be using iron-on interfacing to secure them to the jacket.

The material on this is very good for the price. Thick and pretty soft to the touch. It just fits me very oddly. I’m 5’3” and 145lbs and the medium swam on me. I wouldn’t even mind except that the pockets made it kind of lumpy looking too. Had I a tailor, I might even have brought it in to nip the waist and get rid of the pockets, because the material is very decent, but I don’t have one.

Let me start off by saying that this is a great sweater/jacket. The knit is top notch, well woven. It looks expensive. The length is perfect! I am 5'7" and ordered the medium. Fit was perfect. The one drawback on this sweater is the side pockets. I love pockets and they are placed perfectly. The pockets are made of a knit material, which prevents the pockets from laying flat while wearing the sweater. I certainly don't need any extra width at the hip, but that is what these pockets do to the line of the sweater. You could take it to be tailored and remove the pockets, easy enough or have them remade or tacked down. I don't want to put any more money into this item, so it's going back to Amazon. Really too bad that they ruined this sweater by cheaping out on the pocket material.

I did not like the pockets. It did not sit well when viewing from the side. It cheapened the look of what would otherwise be a very nice coat/cardigan

It was a gift , I was very pleased with the fabric quality. Sizing was generous, easy to wear over another sweater.
