Stopped working in less than a month.
Avoid buying this product. Straight up stopped working after 3 weeks hard to get a hold of manufacturer.

It works perfectly
I have non smart Sony HD TV 40 inch and its speaker is dead. I was looking for ways to add latest soundbar to this TV so that I could watch HD channels from D2H HD Setup Box and get digital audio. This is how my setup worked:1. Connect this audio splitter HDMI input to HD Setup box HDMI.2. Connect TV HDMI to audio splitter HDMI output. This way TV gets its HDMI signal.3. Connect soundbar and audio splitter via optical cable. This way you get digital audio to your soundbar.Remember:1. HDMI splitter will not connect with HDMI ARC of soundbar. Dont waste money in buying HDMI splitter.2. RCA and AUX are analog technology for audio.3. If you want digital audio then either you can connect by Optical port or HDMI ARC port. You dont have any other choice.
