Great travel pants
These are great travel pants. I'm not too big on tactical gear. Im not in the military or law enforcement, but I do a lot of traveling. The pockets are plentiful without it looking like typical military pants. The zippered pockets were secure enough to hold my passport, ids, cash etc without adding bulk. It made going through airport security a breeze, with everything I needed easily accessible. As for the materials, it reminds me of pants from khul. They have a little stretch, so crouching down or moving around is easy to do. They feel very comfortable. They work great in warm weather. Wore them in 80 degree weather in Kona, Hawaii. Was in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia in below freezing temps, walking through snow, and these kept me warm enough as long as I kept moving around. They dry fairly quick so 2 pairs lasted me a good week before washing them. Even then I probably could have gotten away with another week of wear before washing them.I love the looks of these pants. They are functional but aren't obviously tactical or military. There's a combo of style and function and comfort that I truly like about these pants. I normally sleep in my underwear, but when I was out in the country side of Mongolia, sleeping in boxers was out of the question. These were comfortable enough to sleep in.Very functional, rugged, comfortable, decent looking pants.

Perfect work pants
I ordered this for the hubby and as per his words: "Very comfortable, lightweight, flexible, dries fast and great for the type of work I do which includes a lot of bending, squatting, climbing and lifting. The material is breathable and has a slight stretch to allow me to move comfortably without the pants restricting range of motion. Has a lot of useful pockets that enable me to carry my essentials (phone, wallet, pocket knife, etc) as well as tools I need for certain jobs. I have 4 other pairs that are over two years old, has been worn to death and still in excellent condition to this day. These pants run true to size and inseam. Highly recommended."

Awesome tactical pant for trendy or dressy business casual - love them!!
I’m a tall and thin with athletic build - not muscle bound - just fit. I absolutely love these pants. I’m a bit of a prepper and I am constantly looking for “dressy” tactical type pants that I can wear to work - business casual. Cargo pants are not appropriate. Pockets need to be discrete - fit needs to be slim but work with boots Needs to look good with a dress shirt and a pullover dress sweater or sport coat. These work great for all of these and they are so light and comfortable. Tons of very discrete pockets and inner pockets within those. Stretchy waist so you can go a bit smaller than normal if you have a small back side. I have no arse so it’s good to go a bit smaller in the waste and get a tighter fit in the seat. I hate baggy pants. These look just awesome and you can tell the quality is there. I don’t mind spending 90 bucks on a pair of pants that I can wear to work and don’t have to dry clean. I usually pay 100 or more for dress wool pants and I like these better.

Durable
These pants are well made and are tailored. They seem to run a little small though. I will order the next size up next time. The quality is definitely there.

A bit Loose
Upon receiving the pants, I noticed the quality of the color looks stunning. Very good stitching and flexibility on the pants when wearing them. The pockets are exceptionally very well designed and conform to the legs naturally as if the pockets were not there. The comfort waist area is very comfortable, but it seems that since it is thin, the waist and gusseted construction material of the pants, do shrug down when carrying items in the pockets. You notice this shrugging down when tightening the belt close to your waist, its as if the middle of the pants seem to go underneath the belt. I believe this can be fixed by placing a specific material on the middle top of the closing/opening where the button and hole meet (this is called the shrank)I have worn the 5'11 tactical icon pants, and when comparing it to the apex, the icon pants are better in my opinion, in several aspects. First, the button to close the waistband is better and more sturdy than the apex button going the hole. The icon pants are more closer to your legs, giving it that shape of your body look as if it was a custom designed made for you. With the apex however, the pants from the knees down are very loose and wide, making it look as if aesthetically you are wearing pants larger than your natural legs portion.I believe that if the apex is going to be a higher quality product not just functionality / flexibility wise, it is going to be have to find a more aesthetically engineering design to make the pants look not just like tactical / security pants, but to look and appear like a casual/dress pants. With respect to the material used for comfort it is of high quality, but as the pants taper down, it needs to be more closer to the legs to not give off the appearance of the baggy pants. I give these pants 4 stars, but not 5 due to the bagginess the pants carry in the lower legging portion. I do look forward to seeing 5'11 improving and finding a more engineering design that surpasses the icon pants but so far the icon pants are a better fit and comfort overall compared to the apex.

Maybe the most comfortable pants I've ever owned.
I really like these pants. I like that they aren't to militant looking, but still are very functional. My only complaints are that the cargo zippers bind sometimes when I try to close them and the pockets within the pocket of the cargo section is a little annoying when your putting things into them. I keep my wallet in my cargo pocket and they hang on the inner pockets and sometimes takes a second to get past them. All said, I would still highly recommend!
