Ok there’s actually work
Coming back with a little egg on my face to change my review. When i first got these they seriously didn’t work. I watched the yellow jackets come in and out. I really needed something so i went to ace hardware and spent $60 on 3 traps. They were catching them but not as many wasps were going to those traps so i did one thing that was in the instructions of the expensive traps and it was a game changer. All you have to do is put 1-2 drops of dish soap in the liquid. Sounds too good to be true. It’s the winning ticket. When the wasps were falling in the sugar water i put in there originally they were able to right themselves and take off and most were eventually able to find the large holes and fly away. When you add the soap, really just 1-2 drops, it coats their wings and makes it hard for them to fly and they can’t get up and out. Plus, the sugar water in these traps seemed to attract more wasps. The bees were not interested in the traps- just yellow jackets and a few flies.

Works to catch yellow jackets and wasps
Works as advertised, but we've had to put the hanger back on one of them a couple times. The light is silly but they do work to draw stinging insects

Works ok, doesn’t eliminate them
We used apple juice and a little honey. It attracted and killed more yellow jackets than another wasp trap (which only attracted ants), but did not eliminate them. They were nesting in the ground, and to eliminate the nest, we had to use an insecticide dust in and around the hole, which finally worked.

Wasps can leave
At first I was excited to see the wasps go inside, however, the hole on the inside is large enough that they leave. So....

Second try 50% OK .....Not OK for second unit
Both arrived defective. Ordered replacement, if goes well it will be OK . Relacements arrived.......The first functioned properly and #2 only stays lit for 3 hours then dims out. Not worth return.

Traps hornets and wasps
In a matter of 7 or 8 days our first two traps were full of Hornets and wasp corpses. We ordered an additional 2 traps after seeing the fast results. We needed to empty and recharge them on day eight. Only negative is that none of the four have the velcro as advertised which would have made them easier to hang. All in all, good product that's working well.
