Heinz Gourmet Malt Vinegar Bottle, 12 FL OZ

Love this vinegar and is a great salt substitute.

Is not bitter at all. I put it on my fish all the time and it really is good.

I am English. I do not like ‘clear’ vinegar but that - apart from exotic flavors - seems to be all I can find in America. My usual supermarket occasionally has very small bottles, but never on a consistent basis, and they are pricey. This purchase via Amazon will be the first of many. The bottles arrived in a timely manner and were well packaged. No leaks or breakage. And the taste is everything it should be. Now I can really enjoy my cooked artichokes, and fish and chips (French fries for those here in the USA), as well as proper salad dressing. Thanks.

Been using it for years!

This was actually a small Christmas gift for the BF. Here in Buffalo, NY we have an enormous food world and a local favorite is Ted's Hot Dogs where Sahlen's hot dogs are served. (If you make your way to Buffalo, be sure to check out Ted's!)Ted's also has some great french fries and they have bottles of vinegar which my BF loves to douse his fries in. There's nothing like it! And while we don't make a habit of dining out, he does buy frozen fries from the grocery store to eat at home. So he loved this gift. Vinegar on fries is his absolute favorite side dish and he was happy to have the best vinegar at home for his fries.

I like the flavor of this malt vinegar, I cook a lot of fish and this is the perfect seasoning on my fish. I really like it. Not overbearing at all, such a nutty, smooth taste.

Revival of a tate almost forgotten,i did the whole fish and chips vegan style. The malt took it to the top,ty abit pricy for the amount,got hv fun some time.

When you want Fish ‘n Chips like the best hole-in-the-wall dives sell, those wrapped in an old newspaper that the grease lightly shows through, Heinz Malt Vinegar is what you need to finish the deal.And when you sometimes can’t find it on the grocer’s shelves—which I couldn’t at three different stores here on Maui—you gotta go to Amazon for it.Really the most authentic and best!
